I think that he means that we are watching tv, this fantasy world that we belive we're in, and we compleatly forget about real life and whats happening around us. On TV, we make it look like everything is perfect be really, it's not.

If you've seen the music video... It is about the environment and how people don't take care of it. Towards the end of the music video, it says something like "Turn off your TV and go outside". This means to stop being lazy and do something productive to help the environment.

The thing about Jared's that, he's constantly trying to expose a little more about him, about his soul in every song. What Jared's trying to do is to show people a little bit more of who he really is, He's not just a hunky actor, he's deep, he's passionate, he's an ordinary guy and sometimes people don't see that by looking at his exterior.

It's so nice to hear a band talking intelligently about the music they make. All too often bands are just thrown together and plonked on stage like rebels without a clue and when they're interviewed... it's enough to make you cry. 30STM are a top band.
