I work in a hospital that serves a community where 70% or more do not have insurance and many of them are illegal. We do not get reimbursed for their care. Our hospital is losing money and we run the risk of being closed...that's over 1000 people being out of work! We have had people in the hospital for months. It is illegal to turn people away b/c they have no insurance. And what about HIPAA? You can't necessarily tell people the illegal people are patients because it may break the law.
Health care reform? Just get rid of the damn people who dont belong here and our medical costs will go down. Look at californias Hospital expences to care for all the damn mexicans that come here swimming across the border.

Insurance companies are not at fault for the health care mess....illiegals who come to this country already very sick and then go to hospital emergency rooms are at fault. So are the illegals who use emergency rooms as free doctor's offices. Make their countries of origin pay the hospital bills and the airfare to send these leeches home.

I was born here and I can't get free healthcare. Sure you can go into an ER, but you'll be sent the bills (because they get your address from your drivers license) and have to pay or otherwise it's sent to a collection agency and then you have bad credit. I've gone thru so much red tape trying to figure how I'm going to get a wisdom tooth cut out, the University Dental School here charges full prices like the oral surgeons! By the time I'd get an appointment I'd have grandkids!

I work in a hospital that serves a community where 70% or more do not have insurance and many of them are illegal. We do not get reimbursed for their care. Our hospital is losing money and we run the risk of being closed...that's over 1000 people being out of work! We have had people in the hospital for months. It is illegal to turn people away b/c they have no insurance. And what about HIPAA? You can't necessarily tell people the illegal people are patients because it may break the law.

Unlimited Immigration for an unlimited time is not sustainable. We need to limit legal immigration in numbers and to those that benefit our country, not burden it. Illegal immigration can be stopped easily by making E Verify mandatory and ending Anchor babies and chain migration.

Ok I can't blame the cops too much cause there were flaps about this here and in other nearby states that the police / sheriffs would arrest and hold illegals and the feds (ICE - Homeland Security) never bothered to claim them or even investigate their cases. I was born here and I can't get free healthcare. Sure you can go into an ER, but you'll be sent the bills (because they get your address from your drivers license) and have to pay or otherwise it's sent to a collection agency and then you have bad credit. I've gone thru so much red tape trying to figure how I'm going to get a wisdom tooth cut out, the University Dental School here charges full prices like the oral surgeons! By the time I'd get an appointment I'd have grandkids!
