This is simply amazing...My grandfather was a Rambler dealer in '57, and he owned a '57 Rebel. But the AMAZING part is...MY first car was a '57 Rambler Super V8 in Bermuda Green over Berkshire Green, just like the one sitting NEXT TO the Rebel!
I agree the styling on the 1957s were much nicer......and the front grill on these is Rambler to the 10th power. The "Rambler-ness" of the 57s was just breath taking.
can you imagine how fun it was to go into a Rambler dealer and buy one of these brand new.....then hit the road, off to the beach etc. What did these go for new? Anyone know...1600 bucks or something?
well it is up to you if you like it and can afford it including any costs related than buy it.
It is really completly up to you to make the decison now please do not think I am being rude. I am just saying that it is best for you too decide what to do.
sweet! i bought my wife a 57 rambler much like the green/white one in the middle. its really rough but runs like a champ! (it has the factory straight 6)
dunno too much about ramblers though. do you have any resources i could look at?
Thanks but I only use paypal lol
Glad you like them

Rambler Rebel was $2700 w/327 V8. Of course it was one of the fastest cars on the road at the time 0-60 in 7.5s.
