  • Canada gets between 80 to 100 tornadoes per years. That's a fact. Ontario has an average of 12 tornadoes per year. So seeing twisters in Ontario is not uncommon. What is rare, is to see 18 tornadoes in one day like August 20 2009. An outbreak of this magnitude was the largest in Canada.

  • "That is a TORNADO!" Ok there Capitain Obvious!!!

  • This is hilarious. You continue to believe tornadoes are a normal part of weather in Ontario. Then, you call me a "full retard" when you can't even spell "especially". BOTH FEET? You have a man-sized appetite. You DO know you're one of the most stupid kids to ever live, right? Good, making sure you knew that. Because what you DON'T know, could fill a warehouse. Leave Canada (we don't want you) & go down to Ohio where tornadoes ARE normal & talk your shit down there. Fuckin idiot.

  • fags

  • rated f2?

  • Georgian Bay LTD. catastrophe!!! watch?v=OognaDS-FnM

  • You guys are insane watching and taping that thing.... Nice job.

  • OMG its coming right here. next shot is outside hahahaha. nice Cant wait to go up next week

  • What was this tornado rated?

  • @AtarahDerek

From what I remember, these tornadoes (more than one) were rated: F1 and F2s'.

  • Funny

  • Incredible video!!!

Fast wedge tornado's embedded in a line of low fast moving storms...... not a good thing

  • I have to say this was one of the better videos I`ve seen on youtube. Good work with the camera and the commentary wasn`t obnoxious or loud. The twister looks positively mean and you get a good look at the inner and outer rotation

  • Of course he was smoking the funny stuff!! His name is Somborac "420"!!!!! lol BTW, Mr. 420 or Mrs 420 whoever u r, DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! Barrie 1985, Edmonton 1987, Elie Manitoba, 2007 Tornadoes have been a part of our weather pattern 4 a long time! Ontario averages 11 tornadoes a year let alone the rest of Canada!

  • @81pluto OMG, go back to high school. You clearly failed geography, which includes weather systems around the world.

  • There's nothing erratic about the weather. Tornadoes are a normal part of summer. Whoever blamed this on shifting magnetic poles needs to stop smoking the funny stuff.

  • That was me, thanks. And if you knew anything about Canadian weather, you'd know tornadoes are NOT a normal part of our weather patterns. Plus it's been proven our weather is affected while the poles shift.

  • @surveillance27 You're actually saying tornadoes are a "normal" part of summer weather in Canada?

  • @Somborac420 Tornadoes ARE a normal part of summer in Canada. Every year, without fail, there have been tornadoes.

  • @Stringprodigy In Sasketchewan, that's about it. Canada is not known for tornadoes.

  • @Somborac420 are you smoking meth?! It's well documented that we have tornadoes all over Canada every year. I'm in Ontario and we had 3 just today, fool. Google is your friend. Meth is not.

  • @Stringprodigy That's one ignorant statement, accusing me of smoking meth so to hell with you, that's one hell of a low-blow. I'm in Ontario too, so how come they weren't on the news? How come they weren't on the weather network? How come they weren't mentioned anywhere else? They'd be on the news, the weather network & people would be talking about them. I rest my case. "Google is your friend", Google also full of bullshit. People claim to be able to sift out the lies, but they can't.

  • @Somborac420 This is a direct quote from the CBC news website: "Possible tornadoes have been reported in Ontario as a line of severe storms swept eastward. Environment Canada said there were unconfirmed reports of possible tornadoes in the community of Fergus and the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, southwest of Kitchener." These reports were also mentioned in the severe thunderstorm warnings yesterday on the Environment Canada website, and they also stated that isolated tornadoes were possible.

  • @Somborac420 "so how come they weren't on the news? How come they weren't on the weather network? How come they weren't mentioned anywhere else?"

They were. Just because you were getting high and playing Call of Duty doesn't mean that the world stops turning.

    "Google also full of bullshit."

Oh, just like you, then. Are you aware that this video you are commenting under is of a tornado IN ONTARIO? I know it happened because I drove through after and saw the damage with my own eyes, moron.

  • @Stringprodigy Wow, you've got the maturity & intelligence of an 8-year-old. Just stop talking.

  • @Somborac420 LMAO! You're so intelligent, it took you 2 weeks to think of a comeback. Wow...just wow. Fucking idiot.

  • @Stringprodigy Maybe because intelligence isn't the only thing I have that you don't, I also have a life, fucking loser.

  • @Somborac420 Bahaha!!! You are seriously claiming that you're intelligent? XD I guess I have to remind you, Simple Jack, that you were the one that went full retard when you said you don't think tornadoes are a regular part of Canadian weather...on a video SHOWING A FUCKING TORNADO IN ONTARIO! God, you are epically stupid. I guess all that weed has made you so delusional you actually think you are intelligent. Also, with a name like "Somborac420", it sounds like you in fact DON'T have a life.

  • pretty bad, hit peaks good, but if you havent been up to victoria corners (turn right at ravenna and keep following that road) you havent seen anything yet.

  • Laird, crazy video. Nice job! It's amazing to see it dissipate then reform. You can see why certain areas along its path were untouched and other spots got wrecked.

  • my cousin greg works there, thats scary to see

  • Great vid. Saw some of the damage close up. Unbelievable nobody was killed.

  • Amazing video. The motion of the tornado is incredible, and it's neat seeing it go over hilly terrain.

  • Heard about it; not common for Tornados there. Several touched down in that in that one line of storm cells, said emptywitness. The air masses are becoming more intense bringing pattern change and more intense storms.

  • Awesome stuff.

  • excellent footage laird

  • Doesn't look that bad.

  • . This is the Blue Mountain area of the the Niagara Escarpment at Georgian Bay . Its most tornado activity Ive ever seen in Ontario. The North end of Toronto( which is south of here) had several funnels touch down. According to reports almost the entire chain of cells had rotational signatures. It was intimidating.

  • I live in Collingwood, VERY close to where the tornadoes touched down. We got a SHIT-load of rain, lightening, thunder & hail. Earth's magnetic poles are shifting, reason we've been having such erratic weather patterns.

  • WOW! Very Impressive! Where exactly was this taken? What city?

This footage goes to show that tornadoes can occur in any terrain and can travel up and down large hills and mountains!

  • In Ontario province of Canada.

  • Clarksburg, ON. That is the Niagara Escarpment and the damage was amazing. Down on highway 26, some roof tops were torn off and trees cut in half. It was amazing to see.

  • That's horrible to hear. Maybe, if I can I'll take a drive. Poor trees.

  • awesome... nice catch!!!

  • Great footage
