@Tvpath You can easily kill people as a gunner, without issue. Look at some of the others playing Jedi or Sith. They use a combination of deflect, force powers such as grip, lightning and push. As well as cleaver dodging, and our smarting the enemy. It is pretty easy for jedi or sith to get a one up on another class. It just takes time and practice. There is also more depth than that to saber fights, such as perfect blocking and AP.

Its all about managing defense while still being offensive.

to be honest, the saber fight is all about to spam the slashes... no need to watch your bp, just walk forward and attack. easy win... that's why it's screwed up, again.

the makers want the classes to be equal powered, but a sold can kill a jedi with throwing a nade in 1v1... it's just funny. and they have 3 lives=3 nades ...imagine windu in the arena... not 1 droid... many of them... he should have died, right? maybe just wrote the /god into the console

i haven't played since b20, but in my opinion it was better to have some classes overpowered; it forces people to work together to kill dekas, jedi/sith spam, and stupid mandos/arcs. those classes probably suck shit by now though with all the new releases and class equalizing haha

I haven't had the chance to play much since release, but when I have people have said its better.

Well, the jedi's have gained supernatural powers like walking faster than BH's at some points and slashing with a 3 meter's wide saber, surviving 4 headshots from an E-11, but for the rest its so much fun. And I'm not being sarcastic :D
