This is just what I'm looking for, so thanks for the great visual review. You cinched the deal for me when you pulled your 70-200 out - until that moment, I couldn't see how it would fit this bag!
Thank you for a great review. You have almost exactly the same gear that I'm planning to fit: Nikon D90 with 17-5mm mounted + 70-200 VR 1 + SB900. Do you feel comfortable to carry them? Do you find the padding sufficient?
@tritton93 you can definitely fit a MBA 11" in the front pocket (one with velcro, not the zippered one on the back), which is sweet as heck! I'm loving this bag. Thanks for convincing me to go get one tonight..
Nice review.Based on your review Sam i ordered mine yesterday.Ok mb not just on your review but i think this is what i want.Tired if the backpack style. Can't wait till it is in my hands.if I not like it , of course i will blame you !. hehe Just kidding.
@wolfwhite99 it's not about the extra stop...the bokeh looks incredible. totally different beast than the 50 1.4 It's also much sharper...less CA...and it's just got a character about it...and that's what you pay for :)
Good review, I was comparing camera bags and now I'm definitely going go with the 20.
Also I was wondering why you said that the 70-200mm vr is better than the newer VR2 version? I ask because I just recently bought the VR 1 and was worried that I made a mistake not buying the newer one.
@frig2 yes, i use my d3s with the 70-200 mounted all the time. should be about the same. you do need to have the lens hood reverse mounted though if you use one...
Thanks for the review Sam! I got rid of my shootsac earlier this year and have been looking for a better bag for this season for some time. I really like the crumpler bags but I think this may top those and I am now looking to give it a try!
Thanks for the review, your size comment is my one concern. Is this bigger than your UD35? I'm coming from a UD30 and I'm torn between the r10 and r20.... Decisions decisions.

awesome. it's definitely not for everyone, but it's my second fav lens... right behind my 35 1.4g

@wolfwhite99 yeah they make them, about $650. it's insane how fast and easy it is to use though. really helps you pre visualize your shots more too.

@wolfwhite99 it's a nikon. they still make them!

Nice review! Just a Q, do you know if I can fit my 7d with an EF 70-200 mounted? I see you have your 70-200 in there, but not mounted :)

@benjaminbjacobsen it's a tad bit shorter and just a tad bit wider...if at all. it's a really comfortable size if you're happy with the UD35
