I'm still on the hunt for a new "signature" scent after owning and wearing one perfume for 7 years. It's overwhelming. I want to smell ALL the fragrances, including men's colognes AHHHHHH! I'm obsessed!! I used to be under the impression that you were only supposed to smell like one thing all of the time. Now I understand why people own more than one fragrance. Thank you again for your videos!
Hi Katie! I was wondering, since your talk of musk got my ears flapping, can a guy wear Narciso Rodriguez For Her edp? I love musk! And your description of how beautiful this scent is has me intrigued. (Oh, did you get a bottle for the holidays?)
Speaking about musk scents, what are your thoughts on Jovan Musk for Women (the Oil version)? It's cheap and looks interesting. And I love perfume oils.
As usual, another GREAT review from Youtube's TOP Fumehead! All hail the Queen of Sheba!
@brianbarrtt NR For Her edp/edt both strike me as pretty girly, but I've never smelled it on a fella, so maybe you could swing it over to the guy's side with your sheer masculinity! I do think Jovan Musk for Women oil is more unisex. Can't remember if we've chatted about this, but if you love musk and oil, have you worn NR For Him Musc Oil? That one is another wonderful (shared, in my opinion) musk fragrance.
@KatiePuckrikSmells Sadly, I can't seem to find most of the NR perfume line here in the Philippines. I saw NR For Her edp only once in a department store. Although, I do have a few musk-based fragrances like Lovely, Bvlgari Pour Homme & Kenzo Power. But they're rather 'clean'. I want something dirtier, more animalic. I'm still waiting for SJP to release her 'body-odor' inspired unisex fragrance. What musk category is Jovan Musk for Women Oil? Clean or dirty? And does it last on the skin? Thanks!
@brianbarrtt Jovan Musk for Woman is a clean musk, and it lasts pretty well. I can't really think of any mainstream musks that are dirty, unless you go away from straight musk to something like YSL Kouros. Oh, and Kiehl's Musk is an affordable musk on the dirtier side you might try.
@KatiePuckrikSmells I have YSL Kouros! I get the entire 'baboon-butt incense' you mentioned on your blog (I love your description). I love it but, as you said, it's not a musk-musk. I'll give Kiehl's Musk a try too. Though I really wanna try the Bruno Acampora Musc you have! It annoys me that most of the perfumes sold here are mainstream. I need niche!!! Thank you Katie!
I visited the Fragonard Parfum factory in France, and got a beautiful smelling perfume from there, but now it's almost out. Do you have any idea where I can buy Fragonard perfume that ships to Canada?
@giualfredo89 What? No! Viewers are usually eager to inform me how sucky my French accent is. I guess the perception changes depending on how much French one speaks. But thanks!
Wow, watching your reviews I was a little intimidated, to have your nose, your knowledge and by the sounds... your childhood! *sigh* However after hearing your comments about Narciso Rodriguez, For Her, I'm a tad relieved, it's been my favourite for 2 years. I get the most perfume related compliments when I wear it and it just makes feel... feminine and beautiful. I shall happily drench myself in the stuff from now and go forth confident in the knowledge that I smell... like a spring garden :-D
@MsCinone Well, I always say that ultimately, you're the expert in how you want to smell. If a fragrance uplifts your spirit and makes you feel like "enhanced you", then it's a winner! But yeah, I'm in the For Her fan club with ya!
Thanks for the gift suggestions! I'm looking forward to your next Valentine's Day perfume video. Great idea, presenting both high end and less expensive options.
3 of the fragrances of the Tom Ford Private Blend have been made into candles...and they are FABULOUS! I own Tuscan Leather and Tobacco Vanille. They are exquisite and would make great gifts for anyone.
I am hoping for Lacoste Essential just because it is lighter than all my other scents and Burberry London, because I picked up the special edition, rather than the original. I want the original. Hahaha.
I am a picky fragrance person and am easily overwhelmed by fragrance counters The only fragrance that I wore for a very long time was Bijan; I have gotten sick of ever other one very quickly and I got sick of that too, but after about 10 yrs!. i want to find something new! I do tend to like oriental woodsy types but they can be overpowering. Do you have any recommendations for me? I am thinking of HM for my son and Juliette has gun for my nieces!! Thanks for the reviews!
@lilylowsky When I saw "oriental woodsy types" I immediately thought of Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d'Iris. It's really appealing, on the drier side, sweet-ish wood, and not overpowering at all. Is Bijan a bit powdery? You might also try Kenzo Flower Oriental. A more ambery oriental that I love is Miller Harris Fleur Oriental.
I just smelled Bvlgari Jasmin Noir yesterday and it was LOVE at first sniff! I'm thinking of asking for this in the EDP concentration. You see, I found out this I had tested the EDT and it didn't last terribly long. I was wondering if you (or anyone here) might know whether or not they smell the same with one simple being stronger? HI! First, may i just say that i'm a new subscriber and i ADORE you. secondly, i love benton cologne by aeropostale but it doesn't last at all. i was wondering if you knew of a duplicate that will last longer. it's sort of a sweet masculine scent.
@DPM0311 Thanks! And welcome aboard! You might go for A-Men by Thierry Mugler. That one lasts...and lasts...and lasts.... Also check out Cannabis Santal by Fresh.
@IleanaCosanziana You have officially stumped me. Butter! I can think of butter florals, but nothing that just smells like the dairy product itself. The closest I could suggest is something with sandalwood, which has a milky, creamy, sweet-woods scent. I like Etro Sandalo for a sandalwood.
I'm so wishing for any masculine Santa Maria Novella scent but if that doesn't pan out at least I can recommend it as a gift for one of your lucky subscribers : ) Happy Holiday!
@LavendarsBlu Happy hols! I've worn Santa Maria Novella Acqua di Cuba for years! And their Nostalgia is kind of amazing and weird. And ultimately comforting.
@oowatwat Not sure how easy it is to track this one down for you, but I like Laura Mercier Minuit Enchanté perfume oil. Also try Yves Saint Laurent Opium.
I've not done a L'Heure Bleue review, and I do have a bottle of the parfum so there's no excuse.
Agreed, perfume is a gift risk. But a neat way around it is to present the perfume along with a sample of it, if you can. That way, the recipient can try the sample first, and if they don't like it, return the fragrance for one of their own choosing.
@handelviola I would like a bottle of Le Labo Rose Baie 26 to fall into my lap! I just smell that one 2 days ago...mmmmmm....but only a Chicago exclusive. Tears....
@handelviola Like a rosier, less cumin-y, more musky Rose 31. I think it could be my personal favorite from the Le Labo line. My previous fave (on me) was Labdanum 18.
@KatiePuckrikSmells oh that sounds nice, i too had the same problem with rose 31, the rose disappear after 10 mins. now to get my hands on some samples.
I want to try this one... I think it's called Nina or Nana (I could be totally far from the real name) but it's a pink apple with silver leaves on it. It's the BEST perfume I've EVER smelt.!
Okay, so I'm a 17 year old highschool guy, and for christmas i wanna get a winter-y cologne, and then a cologne for spring. What would you say the top 5 would be? My problem is a lot of people forget that there ARE younger people wearing cologne, and we can't wear a lot of mature scents that are only reviewed. So can you help me with a Top 5 HS age, for winter and for spring? thanks!!! And yeah, I know about the 2 you recommended here, but I was wondering if there was more you had to tell. :]
@mashynia8 I do touch on this in my video review of Lovely - there's a consensus that Lovely is a refinement of For Her eau de toilette (the first For Her, in the black bottle). While they're both florals matched to patchouli and musk, For Her edt is sharper and sweeter, while Lovely is more relaxed, with a peppery/anise bite that makes it work for men, too. In fact, I smell a lot of Lovely in Kenzo Power for men.
Hey Katie, well I don't think I will get any fragrance for Christmas from my loved ones. So I just gave a scent to myself! I bought myself Fumerie Turque just a few days ago. I know it's an olfactory hammer, but 15 minutes after its application it is actually soooo comforting. By the way, I also love Bvlgari Black despite my aversion against most vanilla scents (girly girly!). I love it. And also love the sweetisch dirty honey of Fumerie Turque.
Chantecaille Petales 2.5, Prada Infusion, Guerlain Shalimar 1.0, D&G, Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum, Dior Poison and J'Adore set, Flora Gucci and Gucci set i want those. Also Jennifer Lopez Glow and Lux and Stella i like that and it makes great gifts also and for guys i LOOOOVE Ralph Lauren Blue and its cheap but it drives me crazy and Halston also. Im really picky i totally dont like surprises so i just say what i want to get it saves time.
I am hoping for womanity but hubby is hopeless with hints lol. Love the bullets though so tempted to get one for meeeeeee lol. I also wanted to try the Kat von d fragrances but they are not in the UK :0( xxxJoolsxxx Happy Holidays to you honey xxx
i really want miss dior cherie mainly because of the advert and packaging! Smelling like a happy, gorgeous french girl sounds reason enough to buy it for me! :)
WELL HELLO KATIE! Ok. So as a scent obsessive, my latest, must smell of the season, is ginger ,(Go figure). So I would be grateful if you could, in your infinate wisdom concerning all things fragrant, enlightening me of any perfumes that are more than a tad gingery if you please.
@cockneyrouge Sniff your way around these ginger fragrances - some are on the gourmand side, some are dryer and lighter and some are men's or shared. But all are gingery!
Etat Libre d'Orange – Tilda Swinton Like This
Serge Lutens Five O’Clock Au Gingembre
L'Artisan Parfumer Tea for Two
Origins Ginger Essence
Christian Dior Homme Sport
Laura Mercier Minuit Enchanté
Nanadebary Pink (this one is nutmeggy rather than ginger, but you might like it)
Okay, I've been considering your ginger quest further, and I'd like to remove Tilda Swinton Like This from the list (I smelled it again it's more green/vegetal than ginger) and replace it with another Etat Libre d'Orange: Noël au Balcon. NaB doen't contain ginger, exactly, but the peppery-nutmeggy-cinnamoniness gives it a ginger vibe.
@cockneyrouge it is just a fragrance (not a perfume), and doesn't have much staying power, but Origins Ginger Essence is "gingery". It's light, tho, with citrus notes- but lots of ginger. They also have a body butter, wash, etc- all straight up ginger, so you can layer.
my husband wants to finally wear cologne. I was going to get him Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier just because it seems like a good first timer scent, nonthreatening lol but now you have me wanting to maybe get the Hermes one for him instead
Thank you for your wonderful reviews and comments! They are very, very helpful! I am a total perfume freak, and love your blog and YouTube channel. I also work in perfume retail industry and use your information for my clients.
i really love essence by narcisso rodrigez by its pricey i think dolce n gabbana light blue is a cheaper version with that steri-wipe smell u get from hospitals weird i know but i love it , im really wanted a new fragrance for xmas but im just not sure what to get theres sooo many around xx
By the way, I just read on your website that you used to be in a group with Pet Shop Boys... Katie, you continue on surprising me every day! I used to absolutely LOVE Pet Shop Boys as a little girl :) Muah, happy holidays to you too!
P.S. My biggest wish for these holidays... I would like to find someone to share the holiday season spirit with, because I'm far away from my family, in a country where Christmas is just another day...
Terre d'Hermes... I got that for my dad at least twice for two occasions, it IS just as awesome as you described. If I had a boyfriend, I would probably give that to him instead ;)
Katie you are a fume goddess! It's the highlight of my day when I see you've uploaded another brilliant, insightful and mesmerising video!
Don't laugh, but I'm hoping for Mugler's Alien Saphir Soleil this christmas. It just works with my skin and I get showered with compliments when I wear it :)
I'm 23 (not a teen!), but I'm really eyeing love with Kat Von D's Saint. Hoping the boyfriend picks it up for me. :) Thanks for your gift recommendations!
@lazyhazycrazy Sure thing! My categories are offered as a general guideline only - of course, if any of these sound appealing, you are hereby ordered to check them out for your own potential personal use.
as fun as this little gift guide was, i was really expecting your own personal favorite winter fragances, any chance you'll be doing one of those soon?
I tried Portrait of a Lady this week. It reminded me a little of Une Rose - it has the same dark, lushness! I also adore the Henry James book so I was immediately interested in trying it. I'm strongly tempted to get a decant and take it for a proper test drive!
Actually about all those Narciso Rodriguez For Hers - I can never make up which one I like the best, but the original EDT is the only one that lasts on me, so that's the one I end up buying. I haven't tried the oil yet though. Do you know how it compares to all the myriad others?!
@lognorupa All the For Hers are in the same genre, but they do smell noticeably different. The most confusing thing about them is that they're all called "For Her". The EDP is so appealing to me. I'm not loving the new Intense version because of some odd bubble-gum note at the beginning of it. The For Her Musc Oil is really different to the others: it's VERY subtle, & not much of a complex composition. It's really more of a straight-ahead clean musk scent, no development. I can barely smell it!
@lognorupa I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy a bottle of the Musc Oil (it's $150!) but if someone surprised me with some, I'd happily wear it! The little I can smell of it is pretty.
I recently purchased a large bottle of the Narciso Rodriguez For Her Intense from the Musc Collection based on a sample card I got from Sephora. It's quite simple and a bit removed from the original For Her, but I had the most visceral reaction to this scent. It evokes sensuality, softness, and warmth. I could not refrain from randomly pulling out the card and deeply inhaling this fragrance until days later when, sadly, the scent faded away into sample oblivion. $118 later, sigh... I am in love!
@ImHavinaHoot I envy you that reaction! I'm still getting to know For Her Intense, and she's keeping me at arm's length. But you two - it sounds like a match made in heaven!
i love love love all of Juliette has a gun my fav is lady vengeance. I would love to test portrait of a lady I have heard so much talk about it but I have been looking since the beginning of Nov and still haven't found it. where is it located? I just love those bad girl smells.
Sephora has a sampler box that comes with a certificate for a full size bottle. I think its a fantastic gift because you get to about 10 scents and then get a bottle of the one you like on you. I plan to give it to my mother because she is really picky. :)
you are so excellent... your explanations are unaparrellelle. (Sorry.... en francaise there) I really wish you would do personal visits... you are so enlightening
I really really REALLY want Visa by Robert Piguet but I don't think i'll get it.
In terms of presents for my friends I bought a huge hot chocolate mug and I'm filling it with bits and bobs. Bath salts, a moisturiser (moisturizer in USA), flower candles, special candy... anything I could find that is adorablwe. You can also do budget versions of this ideawith chocolates and things under a £1!
Oh and perfume wise again, I also want Juliette has a gun even though i'm in my twenties!
@princesspinkadele With my suggestions, I didn't mean to imply that the fragrances should only be worn by a certain age range, just that a certain age range might especially like them. But both Lady Vengeance and Miss Charming by Juliette Has a Gun have a wide appeal across teens and womanly women, so you're good!
katie you are the best .. for me i like to wear Christian Dior Eau Sauvage Extreme for the winter .. What perfume appropriate for young adolescents in the winter
i want to get Nina by Nina Ricci and some Britney Spears fragrances. and now I kinda want the Juliette Has a Gun Miss Charming purse bullet. i love the fact that it's a bullet!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i may want Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. What a list!
Guerlain Vetiver - one of my favourite men's fragrances! I've wanted to buy it for my dad for a while...except he tends to waste his scents by spraying them EVERYWHERE! So, I'm not sure I can justify a Guerlain purchase on him! :P
Bvlgari Black - love it!! Narciso for Her... for some reason, the edp lasts as long as the edt on my skin! The scent I go for when I want a gorgeous sweet, woody musk is Moonlight Masquerade by Mystic Memories...not exactly like NR for her, but it does the job! :)
The point of this video is to offer gift-giving suggestions, & I really did put a lot of thought into suggesting a group of fragrances that was high-quality while also being easy to wear, easy to find & not too hideously expensive. As I said in the vid, fragrance really isn't "one size fits all", which I guess you demonstrated with your comment ;-) I stand by my choices as being terrific entrees into fume-o-mania for those who might not be the connoisseurs we are, but still want to smell great.
Hey Katie, how are you? I'm Fernando from Brasil again. I'd like to ask a question..What do you think about the Fragrance: Eau de lalique by Jean Claude Ellena? And which you Prefer (( for man )): Eau de Lalique or Bvlgari Eau Parfumée Au Thé Vert....both unissex and Jean Claude Ellena...thank you and congratulation...I watch all your reviews thanks
@KatiePuckrikSmells Yes, i have Eau de Lalique, very nice Fragrance ( Jean Claude Ellena fragrance's ) as you know...fresh scent...very nice...thank you anyway!
Wonderful review as always and so helpful. When I mentioned NR as your choice for wives my husband remarked he fondly remembers it reminding him of Lovely when he sold fragrances. I asked which version and he thinks it was the EDT. He loves gourmands and has tried many Mugler fragrances so that other alternative is helpful. If I were to choose, I am partial to Guerlains and I did like Idylle . The lilac note interests me. My other choice would be the newest Balenciaga. Keep up the great reviews!
KATIE I NEED UR HELP!! I'm gonna buy one of the three perfumes (for myself) but i don't know which one to choose! 1. Hidden Fantasy by Britney Spears 2. Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears 3. Roxy Love by Roxy (Very citrusy) I've tried all three, and i kinda like em all, but i have to choose ONE...besides, my school doesn't allow us to wear strong-scented perfume...so PLEASE HELP ME TO CHOOSE ONE!
@LuvCatz905 I think you should go for Hidden Fantasy - it smells the best out of all of those. And it hugs the body nicely - it's not a big, billowing perfume that will get you kicked out of school.
I was kinda hoping for a bottle of Morocco and/or Alice by BPAL or even Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue if anyone was feeling spendy, but I'm pretty sure I asked too late and everyone's already done their shopping for me. My brothers and I contemplated getting a bottle of Shalimar (the EDP) for our mom but, well, she's already got two and she's very stingy about wearing it. I think she's secretly terrified that Guerlain will stop making it.
i'd love nina by nina ricci or lola by marc jacobs. can't really decide which i like best. what do you think, katie? can you find anything in common with these two?
@IleanaCosanziana Those 2 are pretty different - Nina is pretty and well-balanced between a bit of sweetness, tart fruitiness and soft muskiness, but I find the woody-amber in Lola too clunky and harsh.
In my mom I love Very Valentino, in my dad Boss Bottled. My bf just got 1 million (similar to Le Male JPG) and Blue by Chanel. I love this last one.
I always list what I want to get for Xmas, as my list is very long, I never know what I'm gonna get among the listed items. Don't know what to ask for this Xmas, I change from Hypnotic Poison (loving it for so many years) to Anaïs Anaïs, to Clinique Happy, to Le femme JPG. feeling like i want something with orange blossom, want somthg sweet n fresh
Katie, my hubby has always loved Royal Lime, and I was wondering if you could recommend something similar but more contemporary. Thanks, and happy holidays!
I'm whishing for lavender fragrance oil this christmas. I've been looking all over for a lavender perfume, but I cannot seem to find any that actually smell like the real deal!
As for gifts, I will get my mum a refill of Nina Ricci's L'air du temps. She's not big on perfume, but she loves that one (and so do I - it's so clean and comforting).
@Lyckojazz A nice medication on lavender is Chloe Eau de Fleurs Lavande. Guerlain Jicky is a classic lavender based perfume. But neither of those are "straight" lavenders.
@HispanicImpression I don't know - you'd have to check with each company's policy. I do know offhand that Stella McCartney doesn't do animal testing.

Coral always looks so beautiful on you! And it's such an elegant &versatile color. Love it too.
I'd love a bottle of Tom Ford Black Orchid, I love my little sample of this sexy stuff.
Guerlain L'Heure Bleue would be just as wonderful, if not even more! I don't think you did a review on this awesome stuff did you..? Would you? ;)
I won't give perfume, I'm much too afraid the people might hate it, too risky D:
Happy holiday season! xx
flexiplnt 1 year ago
@flexiplnt It's the coral fan club!

@KatiePuckrikSmells Katie, you are so cruel teasing me like that. but pray do kiss and tell. how does it smell RB26?
handelviola 1 year ago
@handelviola Like a rosier, less cumin-y, more musky Rose 31. I think it could be my personal favorite from the Le Labo line. My previous fave (on me) was Labdanum 18.

Katie, I read a lot in reviews, that "For Her" is almost exact dupe of "Lovely" by Sarah Jessica Parker. Could you, please, comment on this? Thanks.
mashynia8 1 year ago
@mashynia8 I do touch on this in my video review of Lovely - there's a consensus that Lovely is a refinement of For Her eau de toilette (the first For Her, in the black bottle). While they're both florals matched to patchouli and musk, For Her edt is sharper and sweeter, while Lovely is more relaxed, with a peppery/anise bite that makes it work for men, too. In fact, I smell a lot of Lovely in Kenzo Power for men.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
I did want to stress that the For Her I'm commenting on in the vid is the eau de parfum (pink bottle).

WELL HELLO KATIE! Ok. So as a scent obsessive, my latest, must smell of the season, is ginger ,(Go figure). So I would be grateful if you could, in your infinate wisdom concerning all things fragrant, enlightening me of any perfumes that are more than a tad gingery if you please.
cockneyrouge 1 year ago
@cockneyrouge Sniff your way around these ginger fragrances - some are on the gourmand side, some are dryer and lighter and some are men's or shared. But all are gingery!
Etat Libre d'Orange – Tilda Swinton Like This
Serge Lutens Five O’Clock Au Gingembre
L'Artisan Parfumer Tea for Two
Origins Ginger Essence
Christian Dior Homme Sport
Laura Mercier Minuit Enchanté
Nanadebary Pink (this one is nutmeggy rather than ginger, but you might like it)
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
Okay, I've been considering your ginger quest further, and I'd like to remove Tilda Swinton Like This from the list (I smelled it again it's more green/vegetal than ginger) and replace it with another Etat Libre d'Orange: Noël au Balcon. NaB doen't contain ginger, exactly, but the peppery-nutmeggy-cinnamoniness gives it a ginger vibe.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
@cockneyrouge it is just a fragrance (not a perfume), and doesn't have much staying power, but Origins Ginger Essence is "gingery". It's light, tho, with citrus notes- but lots of ginger. They also have a body butter, wash, etc- all straight up ginger, so you can layer.

I tried Portrait of a Lady this week. It reminded me a little of Une Rose - it has the same dark, lushness! I also adore the Henry James book so I was immediately interested in trying it. I'm strongly tempted to get a decant and take it for a proper test drive!

KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
@KatiePuckrikSmells In a horse and carriage straight out of the novel!
Actually about all those Narciso Rodriguez For Hers - I can never make up which one I like the best, but the original EDT is the only one that lasts on me, so that's the one I end up buying. I haven't tried the oil yet though. Do you know how it compares to all the myriad others?!
lognorupa 1 year ago
@lognorupa All the For Hers are in the same genre, but they do smell noticeably different. The most confusing thing about them is that they're all called "For Her". The EDP is so appealing to me. I'm not loving the new Intense version because of some odd bubble-gum note at the beginning of it. The For Her Musc Oil is really different to the others: it's VERY subtle, & not much of a complex composition. It's really more of a straight-ahead clean musk scent, no development. I can barely smell it!
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
@KatiePuckrikSmells Good to know. Thank you :)
lognorupa 1 year ago
@lognorupa I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy a bottle of the Musc Oil (it's $150!) but if someone surprised me with some, I'd happily wear it! The little I can smell of it is pretty.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
I recently purchased a large bottle of the Narciso Rodriguez For Her Intense from the Musc Collection based on a sample card I got from Sephora. It's quite simple and a bit removed from the original For Her, but I had the most visceral reaction to this scent. It evokes sensuality, softness, and warmth. I could not refrain from randomly pulling out the card and deeply inhaling this fragrance until days later when, sadly, the scent faded away into sample oblivion. $118 later, sigh... I am in love!
ImHavinaHoot 1 year ago
@ImHavinaHoot I envy you that reaction! I'm still getting to know For Her Intense, and she's keeping me at arm's length. But you two - it sounds like a match made in heaven!

Oh and perfume wise again, I also want Juliette has a gun even though i'm in my twenties!
princesspinkadele 1 year ago
@princesspinkadele With my suggestions, I didn't mean to imply that the fragrances should only be worn by a certain age range, just that a certain age range might especially like them. But both Lady Vengeance and Miss Charming by Juliette Has a Gun have a wide appeal across teens and womanly women, so you're good!

TheLivwell2 1 year ago
what so that's your best suggestion for winter cologne for men?
your choices are fine but I just expected something more. I'm not knocking it but I think you could of put much more though into it
kingice247 1 year ago
The point of this video is to offer gift-giving suggestions, & I really did put a lot of thought into suggesting a group of fragrances that was high-quality while also being easy to wear, easy to find & not too hideously expensive. As I said in the vid, fragrance really isn't "one size fits all", which I guess you demonstrated with your comment ;-) I stand by my choices as being terrific entrees into fume-o-mania for those who might not be the connoisseurs we are, but still want to smell great.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
Also, wanted to ask - what are you enjoying wearing this winter? It would be good to have your input here.

ColoursandScents 1 year ago
@ColoursandScents I think your husband is right on the money with the similarity between NR for Her edt and Lovely. (I prefer Lovely, myself.)
Hmm, if he likes gourmands, I wonder if he'd like the new Van Cleef and Arpels masculine, Midnight in Paris?
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
KATIE I NEED UR HELP!! I'm gonna buy one of the three perfumes (for myself) but i don't know which one to choose! 1. Hidden Fantasy by Britney Spears 2. Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears 3. Roxy Love by Roxy (Very citrusy) I've tried all three, and i kinda like em all, but i have to choose ONE...besides, my school doesn't allow us to wear strong-scented perfume...so PLEASE HELP ME TO CHOOSE ONE!
LuvCatz905 1 year ago

@IleanaCosanziana Those 2 are pretty different - Nina is pretty and well-balanced between a bit of sweetness, tart fruitiness and soft muskiness, but I find the woody-amber in Lola too clunky and harsh.
