I like these BBC performances, but I swear they must have had someone sitting in the back of the studio with a portable tape recorder hitting the pause button between songs. I have a Cream BBC sessions album with the same recording sound. Love them anyway! Thanks for posting!

@gnome41 This is different from the BBC Yardbirds album. That one has much, much better sound quality (like the Cream ones).

These pictures are form 2 different performances. The ones where you can see McCarty in the blue and yellow shirt is from the May 31, June 1 performance at

Los Angles Forum , Calif 1968. The other ones are from the Action House, New Jersey, sometime in 68. Like you said very late Yardbirds peformance. Hope this helps! Cheers.
