Dude that is a BEAUTIFUL finish! I just bought the Pearl Masters Premium MRP in platinum mist, and I love that kit! But man, your Masterworks kit is TIGHT! Is birthday cake the real name of the finish?
I didn't order the set by myself, it's a used shellset in a great condition.
''Birthday cake'' is a custom finish. As far as I know there is 1 masterworks kit in the world with nearly the same finish and gold-plated hardware, but the color is a bit lighter (it has more white).
The name of the finish is given by the Pearldrummersforum members.
