its all simple really. american comics have no imagination in them. instead of making new comics they just keep rehashing the same crap over and over. unlike in japan where theyre constanly coming out with new comics. when you think about it most modern comics are just FAN FICS written by writers approved by comic books owners (like stan lee though i cant say just how involved he still is with marvel,is he still alive)so yeah most american comics are fan fics which means by defualt they suck.

True, but thats only the big name series of Marvel, DC, Image.

There are lots of western comics with imagination, new ideas, new stories, new characters, etc like Elephantmen, Irredeemable, Y: The Last Man, I Kill Giants, Transmetropolitan, Fables, and lots more.

I will admit Manga is still more popular and has wider variety, but comics have a lot to offer as well.

Well the X-men got ported to Breakworld, a alien planet or whatever and they were going to shoot a bullet to earth. Shadowcat was inide the bullet and managed to phase it through the planet, bt was mia in the proces, so she still is in the bullet but porlly died cuz of starvation.
