Frank, I really enjoy your videos, and have a new burn for a Bellanca of my own one day... (I've been longing for a Bonanza till recently, but now I actually have hope of owning a Viking by myself rather just a percentage share of a Bo!)

I'm going to add one more question re: "The Voice": Is the data feeding that voice generated by radio altimeter? Or does your GPS actually factor relative altitude for you?

Gorgeous airport! Can't you config the terrain warning when in descent within 5 miles of an airport or something? That would drive me nuts. Mine just pops up as a graphic on the GPS screen but I admit if I were in IMC I would appreciate the voice. Anyway great landing and a great vid! Thanks.

You can disable the voice but someday it may save my life.

Understood... but the instruction simply to "pull up" while on approach might not be the best advice. ;-)

@fholbert would you say the benifits of having your own plane and traveling out weigh the risks of crashing? like have you had a lot of close calls? is it hard to get landings down?

No close calls but I've only be flying for 37 years. The only crashes I've had have been in my car.
