Christopher bond produced this album. A young and very underrated multi-talented producer, musician indeed.. Loved his work also on some 70's Hall & Oates albums.
Bad version of this great song. I once heard a version by a band called The Burgerheads. Dee Long of Klaatu was in The Burgerheads and maaaan it blows this version RIGHT OUT of the universe. I believe the Burgerheads were involved in some of Klaatu's recordings but Klaatu gave them no credit. Obviously Wolischoke and Draper were challenged and became jealous of Dee's new band. Bloody shame really. Not sure where The Burgerheads can be found but PLEASE let me know of anything they did.
i believe this was their first album that they worked on in a generally short period of time because they had given up their previous jobs (and anonimity) for this 4th project.
I don't care what anyone says--I like this album. Do I like as much as Klaatu or Hope? No, but that doesn't mean that I don't still like it. An album doesn't need to be outstanding to be good. Klaatu and Hope are outstanding. Endangered Species is good. :-)
I got to see them live in the early 80's... still have a poster somewhere
