  • what kind of cube is that? o.o sry i think u answered this before >.<

  • i hate g perms, i got 2 left, i know everything else

  • @rubiksgh3

The G perms only have two basic cases the other two are just mirros that you can figure out

  • @BrandoRubiksMaster i know, but they are painful to perform, so i just use different ones

  • @rubiksgh3 learning the g perms are really easy it takes about ten minutes to learn each

  • @speedcuber4life24 oh, i learned them last, so i had to practice all the other ones, to make sure i didnt forget them, but i did learn them now

  • @SaraKangMoon really b*tch? its easier? how? by doing more moves? dumb shit

  • At 2:14 it should be way faster to do R2 U R' U' y (R U R' U')*2 R U R' y' R U' R2' :) You basically do the same trigger three times

  • Can you help me with a parity error on a Void cube that I can't seem to find an algorithm for please? Basically I have two adjacent corners that need to be swapped. I can upload a video of what it looks like or a screen shot if need be.

  • @Kriterian I thought you couldnt have two corners swapped on a cube, there must be two edges wrong or smtn :)

  • @formigalformigal On a normal 3x3x3 you can't have two corners swapped, but this corner error and a few others, can happen on a void cube. A void cube doesn't have the center tiles, so you could solve the cube but your "invisible" centers could be messed up.

    This algorithm swaps two corners and messes up the centers, but on a void cube without centers it just swaps the two corners only: U' r U' F2 D R' U R D r' U' R D2 F2 U r' U2

Try that on a regular 3x3x3 that's solved and you'll see.

  • @Kriterian Hey thank you you improved my global knoledge of cubes I didnt realize centers could be placed any way in a void cube :-)

  • what does x' and Uw'2 mean?

  • Ua :46 Ub :59 H 1:10 Z 1:23 Aa 1:37 Ab 1:51 E 2:06 J 2:24 L 2:37 T 2:51 Y 3:06 F 3:21 V 3:37 Ra 3:52 Rb 4:06 Ga 4:20 Gb 4:33 Gc 4:50 Gd 5:04 Na 5:20 Nb 5:36
  • And what does y mean?

  • @theak421 Look it up on wikipedia, its there. y means change the side youre looking at to the left :)

  • What does I mean?

  • @theak421 both left layers

  • Colbyblueclaw, the lower case letters are just turning two layers at once. So the letter U means turn the up layer clockwise, and a u would mean turn the up layer AND the horizontal middle layer clockwise.

  • Yea most cubers would. It's notation

  • GOD WHERE DO U FIND THE TIME FOR THIS?

  • hi, sorry to bother u but i was wondring what brand of rubik's cube you use cuz mine stinks

  • For the Z perm, an alternative is M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2. Which ever one works.

  • For the PLL case at 2:30 , use this algorithm instead. It's much easier.

    R U2 R' U' R U2' L' U R' U' L

I hope this worked out for you. It is a lot better and faster.

    Thanks! :D

  • glupie bo nie po polsku

  • is it weird that i like the sound that your cube makes lol

  • at 2:05 u could also do this algorithm

1:The people that want to do this when the cube is already solved then do the algorithm

2:The people that don't there cube solve then do this

2:The cube has to be faced so the corners need to switch up and down on each side and also face it to the yellow side (not side to side and on the side instead of the yellow face like he did) now u can do this algorithm

    1 & 2:The algorithm is R U' R' D R U R' D' R U R' D R U' R' D'

    if u did it wrong,do H perm

  • that z perm is super long lol

  • You probably know this, but for J(b) couldn't you just do J(a) backwards?

    R U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' L

    Or is it slower?

  • am slightly color blind, I can distinguish your color is not as good-

    can you use other stickers?

  • than k you so much :)

  • in 1:30,it should be easier doing this algo,

    M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M

  • @SaraKangMoon Thanks for that algo!!! i was looking for something like that :)

  • @SaraKangMoon Yes, that is easier to do and eaiser to remember, but it can not be done as fast as the he shows.

  • @SaraKangMoon yes but that uses those dreaded "m" moves so the one he and alot of people use is two gen and ccan be done very fast with practice

  • @SaraKangMoon may be try many algorithms, choose your best one i think that should be easier but if you can do like in this video it should be a bit faster

  • are these all of em?

  • @LanceTheBlueKnight Your tutorials are so helpful! I have watched many videos on how to solve it this way but all of them are either really confusing or dont finish well. i use to solve a cube in 1min 5 sec now i solve it in 40 seconds.

  • what cube you use for main speed 3x3

  • I know all they same algs except your L, both N's and E.

  • Cool! ill rate it 5 sta-

    SCREW THE NEW LAYOUT!

  • Nb Perm (by Weston) L U L' (y') J Perm F' U F

  • @AndreM135 thats an awesome algo man i love it.

  • i cant even solve blind! Lance please reply there is a competiton in toronto on May12 only 2 km from where i live but my 3x3 average is 35 and my 2x2 average is sadly 11 (PBL and PBL recognition), should i go or be a scrambler? PLEASE REPLY!! ;(

  • @SharkRetriver wtf, GO

  • 3:50 is amazing man i use one tht is sooooooo long

  • what cube is that

  • you're all good: badmephisto, coopersacatfilms, RobHo, Dan Brown, and now you, blue knight. Each has shown me a unique perspective and unwittingly influenced me. Blue Knight gives me the most hope in terms of becoming a speedcuber. But I wouldn't have gotten to where I am without all of you. When I break the one minute barrier, I'll post it.

    Rbelbur

  • @rbelbur your already a speed cuber because you wanna get faster =D

  • @rbelbur im sorry what did i hear?

    Dan Brown?

you're all good: badmephisto, coopersacatfilms, RobHo, Dan Brown <<<<< DAN BROWN!!??!!?? (im an ass i know XD)

  • @rbelbur How's it going? :)

  • Excellent, as usual. Thanks.

I'm really starting to get up some speed.

Great fun! Your tutorials and examples make a big difference.

  • 2:24 is godlike compared to the one I used, thks!

    F perm I use is beast! : r U R' U' z U' l' U2 r' U' r U2 l U R2. (The three well oriented pieces are in front of you). It's the third one I learn, 'cause the others are pieces of sh!t

  • its l' after U2 to those who can't see it

  • wtf ures is stupid :P

  • Zperm

    M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2

  • fucking fast mann..

gott to make one with more time to explain....

    bye

  • wow i like the 720p quality, very nice!! and great video!!!

  • the third one is eazy to remember

  • NICE CUBE

  • 3rd to last move in Y perm should be F not F'

  • Which N perm is more efficient? The one in the video or R U R' y J-perm y' U' R U' R'?

  • i didnt emorise them yet but what u do to memorise them is u write them all on a piece of paper u keep practicing solving and u keep doing these algs when they come up and then ure brain will get used to it

    i hope this helps :)

  • @MrFamilyguy4ever I dont care about times too too much so i write a booklet for it and memorize using patterns

    for ex. F R, U' R' U', R U R' F', R U R' U', R' F' R F

  • Hey just wondering is that a Blue Type F DIY? And if it is would you suggest that?

  • that is also type f ii is better as it doesnt deteriate over time like normal f

  • Comment removed

  • that's what i was looking for.... godlike thanks! xD

  • slowly over time

  • thank you x100......

these algos are going to make me fast.....

  • z perm-

    M2 U M2 U x' M2 U2 M2 U2

  • Thanks, I've been using Dudemanpp's vids to learn the pll algorithms, but for the ones I was uncomfortable with I'd come here and look at what you do (usually different). Just learned V perm, then I'm just the two N perms and G perms away. (I don't intend on learning the G perms soon though.. hehe)

  • where did u get your cube from?

  • sweet vid man, the Y perm you do is correct you just messed it up the type on the screen it should be F R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F' (the second to last F in your vid says F' and not F)

  • Thanks Lance I learned full Pll. YAY lol. Could you make a full OLL video like this one but with full OLL?

  • Rb should be Ri U2 R U2 Ri F R U *Ri* Ui Ri Fi R2 Ui

  • Yeah, that's right.

  • Thanks, I was trying to learn this R today. It was very hard to do and wasn't smooth, so I came here to find a different one, but there was a mistake on the screen.

    Again, thanks :)

  • Rb dosen't work for me

  • only the 4 G's away from full PLL. Im happy

  • This is amazing and useful. You are one cool guy!

  • how do you get the yellow side after you got the first to layers done

  • Check out his OLL vids.

  • what is Rw,Lw,Bw and another in algorithms? tell me ty

  • Rw is wen you do R and then r straight afte

  • is't it just r, according to Bob Burton it is a lower case, move two at once

  • I wish I could learn this, but my mind is too small. I use:

Cross on top, Basic f2l, 2look oll, 2look pll, best is 39 seconds, but I average 50 seconds. I am only 11 :D

  • no such thing as a too small brain, what i do to memorize the algorithms is to watch what happens to the cube and remember by patterns

  • finally i no full pll

  • thanks for this Z PLL

  • what type of cube is that?

  • hey man i really appeciate the video, it has helped my time alot. I have disovered 2 algorithms that need to be corrected: F R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F' and R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2 U'.....if you do these from a solved position you can match them to the pattern. Thanks again for the video. I hope this helps too.

  • For the J perm I use R U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' L. I found out this when I was learning 2x2 algorithms and I think its easier than the normal J Perm.

  • I am just the 'N' perms off full PLL. They are real gits to learn. The 'G' perms are pretty tough also. Hard to recognise.

  • I know about 1/5 of the algorithms its that full ROFL

  • i got full pll!

  • Cool!

Here is an algorithim: Ri Di R D

    HaHa OMFG LOL BBQ

  • ROFL

  • @LanceTheBlueKnight what cube is that?

  • Any sequence repeated enough times from a solved state will eventually return the cube to a solved state. The R, U sequence repeated 63 times will return the cube back.

  • i just did it thats crazy

  • dude i tried the R, U sequence 63 times from a solved state....it doesnt work....=(

  • You must have done it wrong. I'm afraid it does work.

    *tries it*

Ok. Maybe 105 times. Try that.

  • yeh it worked on 105....

    lol

  • I have no Idea where I heard 63...

  • lol

  • EDIT

    Not 63. 105 times.

  • 63 is if you do R U', the U being counter-clockwise, not clockwise.

Nice algorithms, Lance :D I've been using Badmephisto's algorithms, but I don't like some of the algorithms.

Also, it's sad to hear you're quitting cubing. I wish you luck on your journey to becoming a doctor :)

  • I'm already a doctor, and I'm only learning to cube now - keep cubing, you'll be a wiz at fast stitching...

  • omg ahhhhh i swear this is so frustrating ok my friend kyle showed me a trick with the cube that u just keep repeating a sequence and if u started with the cube solved eventualy it will be solved again with this trick but iv been tryin to find the trick 4 about 30min and found nothin if anyone has any idea wat im talkin about pls tell me its drivin me mad ahhhhhhhhh

  • M2 U' M2 U' M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2

  • how did you memorize all of that?do you memorize the oll and f2l?

  • memorize f2l ? lol why i havent learned a single f2l i just tested myself forward one night got a few tips and im up to go

  • H perm R2 U2 R U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R U2 R2

  • ur cube sounds like it sucks

  • Request here! Please do a tutorial on the "G" permutations . .maybe something with what u think during them and any finger tricks. . .this could go on ur 5AC video

  • man your cube sounds stiff or maybe sticky either way it sounds hard to turn.

  • for case 4, may i recommend:

    M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2

  • howd you set it up iv bin trying for 30min now

  • what brand is your cube and what type is it?

  • transparent blue cube4you cube type c

  • Thanks! HOw did you know?

  • He says it in his cube collection video xD

  • this cube sounds annoying xD

  • DIY Type C

  • i like the noise your cube makes...

  • nice vid man! i learned 10 algs from this vid! i no 16. but i learned the other 6 from ur other PLL tutorial

  • awesome dude!!!

  • are they tiles on your cube if so how long have they lasted you and are they textured or smooth

  • Yes. They last freakin' forever, and they are smooth.

  • what type of cube u got looks like blue diy

  • wow that is soooo much easier, thnx

  • wow that z is very long i use:

    M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2

and can do it in like 2 sec

  • at wut 1:24?

  • i use the same perm. i wont bother learning the other one

  • IMO The other one is faster when you learn it.

    XD

  • the one i use is pretty fast if the right person is doin it

  • wow your algortim is amazing. no need M' moves thanks man!

  • i got to about 4:40, then i diden't know how to comprehend the pic of the cube. what is that supposed to be? or can it be solve with just another pll?

  • Yes sir! That is a G perm. The reason they look different is because when there are arrows... it's a friggen mess.. theres 6 different arrows in the square pointing to different spots. The easiest way to show these algs is to put the headlights to the left, and look for the chunk.

  • ty :)

  • @LanceTheBlueKnight dood, i cant find this one pll,no idea wat its called, but theres only 2 switches:two adjacent edge peices, and two diaganal corner peices. this computer is SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i cant watch this vid. plz help!

  • thx!

  • i just made a vid just like it hope you dont mind

  • Of course not! I don't OWN pll or anything lol. I'll check your video out.

  • what do you think my aveage should be i no 2look oll 14 plls and intutive f2l

  • THX!!! SuPeR helpful. xD

  • does finally!! mean you finally memorized them all? if so how much faster are your solves?

  • Ah, no. Finally means that people have been asking for me to make this video for ages. I've known them all for over a year, I think. I am much faster with full PLL than 2 step.

  • H perm: If you're right handed, try the slices with your right hand, much faster.

    2nd A perm: instead if (x R2) go ( l R')

    2nd J perm: you can try this.. hold the cube at an angle so it's like a diamond facing you.. or half of a z rotation ( z L' U R') *now finish the z rotation* (R2 U R' U' ) R2 U *now a half of a z', and (R U') ...... z (L' U R') R2 U R' U') R2 U z' (R U')

nakaji has a pll video on it, go watch.

  • Wow cool, thanks a lot. This is the perfect comment lol

  • haha, how's it perfect?

  • It's perfect because most comments are like "HAI WHAT KIND OF CUBE R U USING?". it's nice to get some good advice instead of having to give it all the time. xD

  • Oh ya, and if you do decide to slice with right hand, the U moves are U' instead.. but you could of figured that out anyway.

  • Here i got them...

    for clockwise edge cycle

    M2 U' M U2 M' U' M2

    for counterclockwise edge cycle

    M2 U M U2 M' U M2

  • those are some pretty nice n perms.

ill probably learn those after i finish learning cls.

for your v perm, you should try doing it without the second cube rotation

    try this. R' U R' U' (x2 y') R' U R' U' l R U' R' U R U

    its essentially the same alg.

and if you want, you can try out my L perm too. it doesnt have all those Ls which i hate.

    haha

    F2' L' U' r U2' l' U R' U' R2

  • Thanks, I'll try those out.

  • wat kind of cube is that? is it a transparent blue or a blue diy?

  • i think it is a transparent blue type (c) correct me if im wrong

  • full rating and nice video

  • Erik has pretty cool edge cycles. I use them. They are U and M's only. I reccomand checking them out

  • awesome

  • another (probably slower : /) h perm is U M2 U' M2 U' M2 U' M2 U' M2 U' and you can customize and mold it the way you like

  • Ah, it's a bit long. I've been actually doing the M turns lately, instead of the l2' L2 thing, and it's working well, so I'm really liking the M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2 algo. That's an interesting algo you use.

  • I've been looking for a PLL video because I didn't like Thrawst's and I don't like the 9 more PLL's that i hvae on my sheet, but yours are great. Great help.

  • Nice N's, Lance ;)

  • Hell yea, they kick ass... I was trying to get used to Nakaji's N perms, but they just seem to awkward somehow. But then I found these! ^_^

  • I use Nakaji's N's :P I didn't wanna lean any new algs heheh

  • perfect, I've been looking for better N algorithms. Thanks.

  • You're welcome! :)

  • man i want that cube

  • nice pll video i know all 21 cases but you have some that are faster and some that are longer then mine so its cool to see the difference for 1 algorithm

  • Comment removed

  • lol your cube is so crispy!!!!

i want to try it at the next vancouver open :)

  • haha, Okay for sure. I'm looking forward to it.
