I wonder if Kermit The Frog was interviewing Count Von Count in this skit for the news since Kermit was wearing his trench coat and hat and he was carrying his microphone which is the things he wears and keeps when he is doing a news report where maybe Kermit is interviewing "The Count" on a certain number invention "The Count" made and Kermit is probably telling him to follow him to a news station where both Kermit and "The Count" are going on camera.
Does anyone have the Sesame Street sketch of "You Can't Always Get What You Want"? I think that might have been Canadian, though, because I saw it on Canada's Sesame Park.
@Pocockable I did too. I guess one of the reasons he was feeling better was because, he saw his dog Spot was following him the whole time on his way to school seen at 0:58 and 2:17.
Mine, too. I remember seeing this on the Rock 'n Roll video, only with some of the beginning cut out. Whoever wrote this must really know the blues. :-)
It was designed to 'connect' with inner-city kids, who were at the time behind other school groups because their parents didn't teach them their ABC's and 123's as much as suburban parents (statistically). So, that's why Sesame Street looks like a cleaner, muppet-infested version of the Bronx.

Did anyone notice the FIRST time he sang "One Block, Two Block..." he didn't open his mouth for the word "block"?

I enjoyed seeing the muppet boy feel better by the time he got to forty and that other kids were singing with him. He's a very handsome muppet.

Great mix of muppets and kids, don't you think? They should do this more often.
