what u like or what u prefer is useless,its cherubimon thats the name. its based on the second highest angel rank in christianity cherub angels are messengers of god in that religion so kerpymon is not the real name. plus the japanes version (the original digimon version not dub) hes called cherubimon.

I too found Prairiemon to be discomfiting. Turuiemon is to Lopmon what Galgomon is to Terriermon. They are mirror representations of one another. Something tells me the team behind the Tamers MMO either forgot Turuiemon existed or they were trying to be edgy by choosing something less obvious.

There is no doubt in my mind that if we were to ever get a peek of Cherubimon from Frontier's official evolution line, the adult would be Turuiemon.

@KerpymonKaizerin Turuiemon has never appeared in the canon. I don't know where Prairiemon was picked up but it is in Lopmon's DBO line. Wendigomon works for both forms and is the only champion to appear in the canon really

Um, I would like to say, that as far as sources go:

Kerpymon is the data Ultimate, and Cherubimon is the Virus Ultimate, from what I've seen.

Antylamon is the Ultimate, and Kerpymon/Cherubimon is the Mega. And digimon on their Vaccine or Data has the same name. The difference about Kerpymon and Cherubimon is that Kerpymon is the Eng name of Cherubimon, and Cherubimon is the Jap name of Kerpymon

Right you are on the last part. But as far as your line goes, I have to differ on the adult level. Endigomon is specifically designed for Kokomon infected with the virus in Hurricane Touchdown. Turuiemon was created for the card game so that Lopmon would have an adult form that is more visually resemblant. Sources such as the Tamers MMO have Prairiemon as the deva Antylamon/Lopmon's adult form. I guess it all depends on which source you feel most comfortable using, eh?

@SsjJake129 The dub is just erm wrong... the original name is Cherubimon for both the vaccine and virus versions. IF anything you just call them Cherubimon Vaccine and Cherubimon Virus. And there is no data version of Cherubimon in the cards by the way... and to be sincere the dub name is just confusing since the digimon is inspired in the Cherubim as presented by Christian sources (they are meant to be animal lake, it was just the Victorians that turned them into flying babies xD)

It's a mistranslated name, and besides, he's called Cherubimon for the distinct reason in that he's a Holy Digimon- one of the three Great Angels. So, by calling him Kerpymon, his name loses its meaning!

However, I suppose that it could be passable when referring to the one in Hurricane Touchdown, as that one wasn't an official Angel.

So, season 2= Kerpymon, Season 4= Cherubimon? :\

Actually, the majority refer to him as "Cherubimon". I only use Kerpymon because I needed a Digimon who's name begins with "K" for my username and Cherubimon happens to be my favorite Digimon.

Yes, technically they are both Lopmon's adult forms.

Wendigomon, however, is a product of Diaboromon's data being fused with Lopmon, thus rendering a virus. Lopmon's true champion form is Turuiemon, a data attribute, so we can assume that both the Lopmon in Tamers as well as frontier (considering he had been purified) would have used this line.

Kerpymon is the name used on the Digimon memorabilia circa 2000, or when Hurricane Touchdown was released. "Kerpymon" is a mistranslation of "Cherubimon", as Japanese letters do not convert perfectly into the Latin alphebet. C-B-I were confused with K-P-Y. This happens a lot when translating names, especially with Digimon.

You'll notice he is referred to as Cherubimon in later editions, such as Frontier.

If you pause at the frame where Lopmon appears, you'll see a watermark at the top of the video for the unregistered demo of "Etima". With this program, I converted a video clip into images and individually added the extra horns to the frames.

I made the Turuiemon clip by aliasing two seperate card pictures and re-aliasing them to the background in a frame-by-frame animation.

I always preferred the dub Kerpymon as it was printed on the original movie card as opposed to the more recent Frontier. *is not a fan of Frontier* Also, my adorable warp-digivolving Lopmon doll's box refers to her as 'Kerpymon'.

I sew a lot so I made my own Lopmon (and her twin) with fabric from the craft store. She looks so lifelike except for instead of the three horns on her head she has a crown ~ my personal touch.

My next project is a paper mache Kokomon. >=3
