Bernie Mac disclosed that he suffered from sarcoidosis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissue, most often in the lungs. He was diagnosed with this about 10 years ago. He was told that if he continued his heavy smoking habit that he may not live beyond 10 to 15 yrs. Bernie did not listen and unfortuanatly suffered the dire consequences. He will be missed.
