@theninjacowboy i have a question, and im not saying i agree with it, or that i agree with ur vid... at 1:42, what you said... wont people say that the simple complexity requires an extreme amount of energy, so therefore it must live outside natural law?
Hi, I'm an agnostic. Trying to disprove God is hypocritical. How can you say something doesn't exist just because there's no proof? That's just as much an act of faith.
It's not beyond possibility that some being created the universe. It just required a lot of energy. Who knows. Faith isn't a problem anyway. Lack of understanding and empathy for others is what plagues human lives. You can be a good theist or an a'hole atheist - logic says right there it's nothing to do with faith.
Look up the word Namaste. I don't necessarily believe in it but what it entails is that when an inner conscious mind "evolves" (i use that term lightly.) then the "inner god or goddess" inside of someone recognizes the "inner god or goddess" in another. Has anyone ever wondered that because god is, will always be, always has been, and is everything that quite possibly all life could be considered god? I mean it makes sense in a way since he is within all of us according to most religion.
God feeds on faith so hes to complex to understand...if hed just show himself everyone would believe and every one would convert to a religion assosiated with God...simple as that
Its pointless to argue this topic because god is an entity that requires faith to exist and with proof there is no faith and thus no god. Also in a broader sense god doesn't necessarily only imply the christian view of god. From an Aristotelian point of view god is a perfect entity that all beings move towards and is more like an energy rather than some type of being.
if the world was perfect all of the time you would not know what beauty was or happyness. it would just be living. so im sorry but i think this world needs pain and suffering even if it is horible.
to your coment on this univers not being perfect. how do we know what perfect is. it could be that pain is apart of the perfect world. pain shows me how much more good things are there is ying and yang it all works.
Well the biggest problem with Christianity is that it refers to god as he and simplifies the God.God doesnt have to have a gender or a form.God might be the energy itself or something entirely different but saying that God has a gender or lives outside of the universe makes no sense...
God was always there and he is actually very complex because if you think, he's got alot of knowledge and power. He is not simple but very complex. That supposed "Father" on Fox news is just a hired hand who just made up alot of crap.
@MrTwistedWirez Did you not watch my video? By implementing God you're just solving complexity with more complexity. Since God would have to be extremely complex himself, who designed him? You're just going around in circles. If you believe that "nobody created God; that he always existed," then why not just skip a step and conclude that the complex universe we live in has always existed as a continually expanding and contracting one?
The one thing you do not mention is the notion of finite regress in existence. Basically in this universe, there is a chain of cause-effect relations that defines how everything exists (including us). In short, everything depends on something for its existence. So that comes to the question...where does the chain begin? We can say all existence is either rooted in the multiverse/omniverse (supported by M-theory) or God. The point is that there has to be something that has ALWAYS existed.
Why in the wide, wide world would you honestly expect to get a sane answer from fox "news"? They're a bunch of crazies. Then again, perhaps you did it for the laugh of watching them be inane. But if so, there are much easier ways to get a good laugh than poking the fanatics with a stick, get them riled up enough and the "nice" "god fearing" people start lynching.
Heres some basic shit for you guys: You belive in god, die, find out there is no god. The end. You don't belive in god, die, there actually IS one, He anally rapes you, you get an STD and die AGAIN, this time for GOOD. So i reccomend not being athiest. or you will get a STD in the afterlife, and you WILL die. Again.
my theory is that god isnt an almighty being that knows everything because he created everything but instead just a man who lived with a heart and will of a god.
instead of a day of creating oceans the clouds brought water, instead of magically creating plants he planted them all over the globe, instead of creating animals he just discovered them and allowed his son to name them.
etc. I am a man of theories and love to create some almost everyday, has anyone ever gave thought that was is human?
@theninjacowboy im with you man, i just wish these brainwashed religious people would understand. you can try to tell em' but they just block it from their mind and simply say "god created this". and if you tell them how he CREATED it they just say something stupid that doesnt make sence. they should be able to back it up if they are truly convinced god made everything.. ps.did god make porno!? psh answer that FOX~!
ok, despite being a deist (in a nutshell, god exists but let's things just run their course [further simplified: a way to try to stop religon and science from butting heads}) fox new's response was typical fox news. aka STUPID. Although I do believe in a higher power, there must be some origin to it. And about religon itself: religon was created to bring in morals (like killing is bad [NOT how to live your life]). Turning religon into an insturment of discrimination is an offense to humanity.
if you believe in science of religion, everything needs faith. actually, no one knows what the first matter ever originated from. there is so much evidence that proves a 6000 year old earth. if you really are interested in this subject dont be so arrogant to only do research on one side of the debate. open your mind, read a bible than after read a book on evolution. if all you read is evolution this and evolution that, than you are just plain old ignorant.
Ninja, maybe you should stop being some buttmad atheist faggot and keep doing what you are good at: making hilarious video game-related videos. Otherwise you will simply come off as another commonly seen arrogant douchebag and destroy the reputation of atheists everywhere. All you will be spouting is opinions and frustration while completely overlooking the positive side to religion.
Unsubscribed to this bullshit. Oh look, now my oatmeal's gone stale too.
Truth is an illusion. You are all being mislead by your own views including atheists. There is no such thing as truth, only stubbornness. Humans will never understand the universe. Physics gets torn apart with every new discovery that is made. Even physicists will tell you that. Atheism is just as horrendous as religion. To make fun of someone for their beliefs is a waste of time and not conducive to the progression of society whether the bully be christian buddhist athiest muslim etc.
First off, I would like to say that if you i.q. is below 70, don't post a comment on here, because you have zero chance of understanding his point of view, and especially no chance of understanding the big bang theory. Also, don't post a comment defending the bible if you haven't read it, don't post a comment defending the big bang theory if you don't understand it, because the big bang theory has nothing to do with the beginning of the universe
Christianity and any other religion is just a way for simple minded tiny brain idiots to understand why humans are on this earth and what our purpose is when we humans are just a random series of events that have occurred.
Only fools do not keep both eyes open. Blind faith is folly but I would advise atheists to greet the ignorance and sometimes hatred of believers with both loving compassion and challenge. There is a reason that belief still exists and it is not merely "brainwashing" or fear. While the prophets knew no science or reason, there is wisdom to much of what they said, though clearly not all. To remove religion from the world in its entirety would be throwing the baby out with the bath water.
But what you all must remember is: This is Fox News. This may very well be the most logical argument they have ever supported. Jokes aside, I love how logical and clear your video is. You are one of the few people I know of, that actually think before you speak. Err, type.
I believe it is POSSIBLE there is a god. Its also possible that Mr. Mochi created the universe with a smack of his mighty fish sword. Until a god or gods or goddess come out of the sky and publicly announces his existence, we should just live our lives. If you must have a religion, worship the POWER OF ATOM!!!! (Fallout 3 reference, but also kinda true)
Then again, Christianity has always been exploited for evil, like the Crusades. It makes me sick. I hate having my faith soured and degraded because of all those hyperconservative assholes who are DOING IT WRONG!!! It is perfectly logical for someone to question the existence of God, yet so many "Christians" have to be pricks about it. Evolution is fact, by the way. The universe did not come to be in 7 days. Does this make it's creation any less magnificent? NO!
Christianity is actually becoming increasingly misunderstood. If you find yourself in a Church discriminating against Gays or Atheists or ANYBODY, You have stumbled upon a Church that had betrayed the teachings of Christ. Unfortunately, so many of those Churches exist now that it has spoiled the image of the entire Religion. Fox News does not follow the true teachings of Jesus, they simply pretend to. Its not about Hell and Book Burning, its supposed to be about fellowship and understanding.
Im kinda surprised a Father is being such a douche. Catholic Fathers, at least on my experience, have to study philosophy before even thinking about going into theology; so such issues should not be new to him, and did not merit such a bullshit answer.
You sir, are a gentleman, a scholar, and an all around cool guy. Funny, nerdy, and a brain in your skull. If I had a stamp of approval to give, you would have it.
This is why I hate atheists. You should spend your time doing more constructive things instead of spending it bitching about Christianity, one of thousands of religions on the planet. Atheists are just as bad as the Mormons knocking on my door but instead of asking "may we have a word about God with you?" it's "may we bitch and complain and attempt to explain string theory with you?" I already watch Michio kaku, Brian Cox and through the wormhole with Morgan Freeman kthnxbai. Agnosticism FTW
@WhiteKnight4171988 Your bitching about someone bitching? Children, this is what we call a hypocrite.
Absurdism FTW So you don't have to google it you lazy bum, Absurdism is a philosophical school of thought stating that the efforts of humanity to find inherent meaning will ultimately fail (and hence are absurd) because the sheer amount of information, including the vast unknown, makes certainty impossible.
finaly someone who shares my idea's and also believes in hard evidence and who dares to say it outloud and give pleople some freaking proof in their face, religion might be a verygood think, but boy have a lot of people died ofr it.....
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I don't believe in god like you ninja, but you're coming off as a smug liberal nerd. You don't know for sure either. You should shut up and just live your life and be the best person you can be. That's what I'm doing.
@Pyrofreak321 Except that religion greatly interferes with the world I want to happily live in. I want to live in a world where truth matters and where children aren't brainwashed to believe that they deserve to burn for eternity if they don't confess a love for a magical being in the sky. I want to live in a world where everyone ELSE can live it their best without the restriction of ridiculous dogma, giving them the incentive to hate gays, other theists, and even themselves. It matters to me.
@theninjacowboy Nah I'm living quite happily with other people around me being brainwashed. The people I know that have any religious belief at all are still good people. Its just 1 misguided quality to them. I'm not going to talk down to people on my high horse just to change their misguided beliefs and to prove them wrong. I'll let them be.
@theninjacowboy It seems like your targeting a specific religion. Christianity and their likes. But there are other religions too you know. Ones where they don't believe your going to burn in hell, or that you should discriminate against gays or atheists. Actually I don't even think Christianity preaches that I could be very wrong though I wouldn't really know. But in the end it comes down to Faith. It can't be proved, because i believe god is incomprehensible, so believe or don't.
There's so much validity and wisdom in your question, and yet all the media does is dance around with an answer that doesn't make sense...typical.
If God does exist, than who created him? No matter what a person's belief is, you can't just justify Premature Existance as simply "being". Everything has been created by something before it. So if God (whether he exists or not) would've needed to been created.
Oh the amount of hate I'm going to get from the Bible Thumpers.
@barraki92 Im a christian and i see what you are saying but unless you realize what God does for you everyday then you dont know. I dont doubt in God because of what he has done for me. I say if you try it and nothing happens then no harm no foul but if not how do you know. and about the hate thing. I dont hate anyone cuz Jesus didnt. The point of being a christian is to be christ like and follow his example. Just try praying once and believe for a moment and see what happens.
@theninjacowboy So you're trying to enforce your view of how the world should be because you hate how people enforce their view of how the world should be?
In everything and everyone there lies hypocrisy, no matter how much we want to deny it. That said, I share the same views Ninja does; hypocritical or not.
@theninjacowboy No one can prove where the universe actually came from or its origin so saying god isn't real and without proof is the same thing as saying he is without proof so therefore it is soley on what you believe and leave it at that.
@theninjacowboy I hate religion too, but I do believe in a God, things are much to complex for there not to be. Most of my friends are Christian in spiritual belief, and not a single one of them hates homosexuals or other people who think differently. The majority of that loony religious bullshit comes primarily from the Catholics, who are constant hypocrites. Now I can respect your opinion, everyone has a reason for believing the way they do, but don't belittle someone who has faith.
@SLAMTproductions Wow there muchacho, I didn't mean to rub you the wrong way, I was simply respectfully sharing with you my opinion. Lets try to be nice an not insinuate that the other is simple for believing differently.
@Razuchi you didnt say it like it was opinion... telling someone that "things are much to complex for there not to be" isnt an opinion... its a statement
There are reasons that everything is complex and saying god did it isnt going to help us it will only hold us back .
@theninjacowboy Okay, Stalin, good luck with your perfect world without religion. Even though religion has a negative stigma in your mind, many people use it to cope with the world. Maybe you should just deal with it and stop bitching.
@theninjacowboy *cough cough* Sorry to continue this thing, but, as it happens...
I find it offensive that you beleive everyone who beleives in god says that everyone else should, and if not, the sky will burn or something.
Only the most radical of beleivers of any religion think that. Just as you are intitled to one beleif, others are to another. God is not magical, in fact, God is quite mundane, in my threory. I beleive that the new testament is the book that can be relied apon.
@theninjacowboy To continue, I agree, your children should not beleive that fire will rain from the sky if they don't confess their love of god. I think that God created the world through the means of Science, and that god acts through other people. Therefore you could say that Darwin and Galileo, as two examples, who both studied as priests, were just, slightly, pushed in the right direction to find out how the world works. Jesus himself said he would come back, but never said in fire...
And do you think all beleivers hate gays? My uncle is gay, and I he's in the choir! The fact that you are trying to deisprove the fact that god does not exist shows that you, as a person, do not respect the right to believe what you want. I do not agree with Fox News, in fact I think they are the worst media on the planet, and that where I come, Britain, is blessed with not having them on their networks. Plese, I do not want an arguement, I want to be a reasonable as possible.
@Lozzer70 Not all belivers hate gays, but unfortunately there is a pretty large percentage of christians who do, and belief is often used as an excuse to hate gays even if it is not the real reason. Personally, I dont think most people who claim to hate gays due to their religion actually do, I think they use religion as an excuse. But you can see how someone would think that christianity supports homophobia, with the various anti- gay passages in the bible supporting that argument.
@Lozzer70 and on the thing about disoproving: thats how science works. our beliefs are based on a lack of faith. we try to disprove everything, even our own ideas! asking us not to try and disprove something is insulting because its a fundemental part of what we belive in. If we could not try to disprove theories, than we would rely on faith. thats not an option due to our beliefs revolving around NOT having faith. And dont get me started on how much christians seem to disrespect us.
you make an excellent point however i am christian but i do not throw my views at other people, i support that gays have a right to marry, i am pacifist and try to express peace for all things but i feel people have choices that have to make and simply hating people for being religous in the wrong way is being just like them, your being hateful
@theninjacowboy Reminds me of a Philosoraptor quote: "If one person has an imaginary friend he's crazy, but if many people have the same imaginary friend...it's religion?"
@theninjacowboy Im a athiest. I dont go around telling people what they have to belive in, it is called freedom of religion and people are free to teach whatever they want to. Did christianity now days ever hurt anyone or anything? They have actually helped creating hospitals, giving people relief and refuge when they go to a church. I dont see why asshole athiests like you have to always talk down to people who believe in a god. They are like us, so stop complaining.
@zabeenzakia why dont you belive there had to be some kind of creator. i dont blame you for making fun of christains or organised religion but to me the world is to perfect to have just happend. please coment back i am curious obout you belifes.
@jmpatti55 Well i think that the world has just been here and your right it is sometimes to perfect but you can just thank evolution for that maybe the world was first shit and it took so long for evolution to kick in so what im saying is that take everything humans placed here build here and made here throw that away and that was Earth years ago with Adam and Eve i think the Earth now and the Earth then are no way the same so the idea of Adam and Eve is not true plus What about diseases
Look up "list of epidemics" on Wikipedia and take a look at the death tolls (eg. 75 million for the 1918 flu). Also take a look at just how horrible it is to die of many of these diseases. Take a look at just how many people are dying today of hunger and thirst. Take a look at how we're rapidly depleting our planet's resources and causing an unprecedented mass extinction of animals and plants.
Now explain to me how this all fits into your view of a "perfect world."
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi that is a part of my perfect world we need death. but that is not my point at all forget about life on earth just think about what had to happen to creat gravity that brought matter together to creat a planet. how complex black holes are just stuff like that. I dont realy see how death and pain and horible things that happen to us has anything to do with there being a some sort of creator. do you kind of get what i mean. i just want to know if i make any sence
I'm sorry if I came across as hostile, it wasn't my intention. Saying that you're speaking from ignorance wasn't meant to insult. I was just pointing out that you didn't really know what black holes are (i.e. you are ignorant).
"for the most simple things to be created is complicated "
We don't know that to be true. We've never seen anything "being created." All we've seen is the rearrangement of matter and energy into new states. So we are ignorant of what creation requires.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi I think that death plays a perfect role in my perfect world. we need to somehow kill of some of these humans to keep order. the creator gave micro organism the ability to evolve very quickly so we could have something to kill us off when we are to populated. thats what i think. dose that make any sence. please msg me back.
A universe where you have to kill people, and apparently do so in a variety of horrific ways is NOT perfect.
Okay, now pay attention: make a world exactly like ours, except that people don't suffer in agony from diseases. They just die peacefully in their sleep. There, I've come up with a world that's closer to perfect than God apparently did.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmio your coment on this univers not being perfect. how do we know what perfect is. it could be that pain is apart of the perfect world. pain shows me how much more good things are there is ying and yang it all works .if the world was perfect all of the time you would not know what beauty was or happyness. it would just be living. so im sorry but i think this world needs pain and suffering even if it is horible.
Here's a definition: "Having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be."
A world where countless people died of smallpox is not perfect. I'm not saying a world without any suffering is perfect, but certainly a world without the kind of excessive, brutal suffering we have in this one is better (closer to perfect). Tell the women being gangraped to death in Sudan about beauty...
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi well i think of the world as an enitre organism. i dont look at endiveduals. it sucks that people get raped and murderd but i still beleve that this worl is perfect. and explain to me how a black whole works. i know it is made from a masive star compresed into a small space. but i dont think you know much about black wholes i think you are talking in ignorance yourself
To understand why black holes are the simplest objects in the universe, you first have to define "complexity." This will do: "something with many parts in intricate arrangement"
A black hole is an object of zero volume (a singularity). That means that the matter doesn't have a spacial arrangement at all and is therefore exceedingly simple. Black holes can be described by just three numbers; their mass their spin and their charge.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi i think your statment that black holes are simple is outragous because anything you can think of if you go deep enuff and ask enuff questions is going to be so complex that we will never truly under stand it, unless it is man made.
You're simply wrong. Have you actually ever read any cosmology books? No you haven't. If you had, you'd know that black holes really are extremely simple. They have no structure. Intricate structures is what gives things like cells, airplanes and hurricanes their complexity.
Really, look up black holes right now and educate yourself a bit. You're making authoritative statements about a subject of which you're almost completely ignorant. That's truly ridiculous.
"Black holes are the simplest objects in the universe. You can describe one completely by just its mass, spin rate, and electric charge. In contrast, to completely describe a dust mote you're have to specify the position and state of all of its atoms, taking at least $10^16 numbers."
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi its structure my be simple but what is does is complex. and nobody truly knows what happens to matter when it goes through it. there is no way i will ever say a black whole is simple. and didnt you say a black whole has no mass earlyer. and arnt there still just theories about black wholes so nothing your saying is not substitianted. am i right
Get some sleep dude... and reread my comments when you're mind is working correctly. I said they have no structure, not that they have no mass. Also, we do know what happens to matter when it falls in.
In any case, I'm not going to give you a remedial lecture on black holes here. You can easily find detailed info on the internet about this. All you're doing here is arguing against what cosmologists say and your arguments have no basis.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi I guess we have a diffrent understanding of what perfect is. and no i do not ignore the the horible aspects of this world i just do not know how to express my interpretation of this universe. i have already explained the best i can how this world is perfect the is a ying and yang of pain and beauty.
you did not reply to my coment about the black hole i guess i was right about you talking out of ignorance.
I did reply to your black hole comment (I left two comments).
You don't need suffering to appreciate beauty. That's simply not true. I have a very comfortable life with no real suffering but I have a deep appreciation of beauty. Conversely, someone who dies a slow and painful death probably doesn't have a deeper appreciation of beauty before their last agonizing breath.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi but there death and pain carys on to the surounding people. you dont have to have a horible live to apritiate beauty.
just think if every thing was perfect would you know if you saw beauty if it was around you 24 7 sence you were born.
and your reply on the black whole. black wholes are way more complex then what you decribed. i want you to explain to me what they do and how they do it. EX black wholes bend light beams. stuff like that
Black Holes: They exactly as simple as I described. You can always read about them in detail yourself.
ALL matter bends spacetime and light follows this bent path. Black holes are simply huge concentrations of mass so they bend spacetime to an extreme extent. That doesn't make them complicated.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi when i sayed if every thing was perfect i was using that statment as seen through your perspective. i worded my sentence prooly it is 4 am here and no to awake. but your right i dont know alot about black holes i just still cant see how they are simple. do you know everything about a black hole NO YOU DO NOT! and to say it is simple is saying that you completly understand the in and outs of how they work. so im saying you statment is outradous still.
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi but every thing you have sayed i already knew about a black wholes. you are to aragent with your little bit of knowlage. prove to me that you know every thing about a black whole and i will retracked my statment that you are outradous.
One time this creationist tried to disprove the laws of thermodynamics stating that the only way humans could become more complex would be if there was some huge extraterrestrial source of energy and that there wasnt one...... except for the fact that there is....its called the sun LOL XD
WARNING: This comment has absolutely no ties to the subject at question.
Hello, My name is Drew. And I 'd like to tell you that the other day I sat on my toilet and proceeded to push a poop stick from my ass. at first I thought it was a normal turd, but then....it slowly foamed out of my butt hole like a snake. I tried to squeeze the shit, but every breath I took broke the foamy snake. And so I sat on the fecal throne and gave birth out my rectum to little foamy snakes for an entire evening.
In a way, I think this could be inverted -- "we can't disprove atheism and we can't disprove theism," which is pretty much a logical fallacy (appeal to ignorance) either way.
If there was nothing before the big bang, and it heppened due to "Vacuum Flutuations", who's to say God didn't do that? that God didn't make evolution possible? and also that God also didn't make life unfair on purpose?
If you can't answer all three questions, then you cannot say that God doesn't exist.
Hows about we leave the issue alone and admit that as humans, our view of reality, though ever expanding, is not whole, and rushing to either side of this debate on god is purely an act of faith, seeing as decisive evidence as to both the state/nature of the universe before the big bang and the existence of any kind of "God" has not yet been procured by modern science.
What the hell kind of response was that from the Father? I actually expected something a little more... you know... intelligent? Imaginative, even? Just saying, "God," is enough? Fucking modern religion... -_-"
.....dude, you just blew my mind!!! I understand that there are people who always put god before all other logical reasoning, but your question was one that absolutely dumbfounded the preacher, father, etc. Personally, religon is something that people believe in inorder to feel a sense of comfort and/or understanding about the unknown and unexplainable. I'd rather ponder about the unknown so when we ever find the answer, my thirst for knowledge will be fulfilled :)
Why can't we all accept that there's no way we could possibly know whether or not there is a god while we're still living rather than trying to prove or disprove it either way? No offence to you, sir, but I'm just saying. I think it's the right thing to do as of now, until we can actually prove or disprove god because right now we can't.
@ChrisAAMO Then tell me what caused the big bang. as much as I liked to believe that a random explosion caused all of existence, I need some real evidence, not just you saying its been proven, give me evidence.
also, tell me how its impossible that God made the big bang? if there is a creator, then tell me why he wouldn't use something like the big bang to make the universe

Hi, I'm an agnostic. Trying to disprove God is hypocritical. How can you say something doesn't exist just because there's no proof? That's just as much an act of faith.

But my original point was that as a conscious mind expands its thought process becomes much more complex, and possibly that complexity is partly god.

From an Aristotelian point of view god is a perfect entity that all beings move towards and is more like an energy rather than some type of being.

MrTwistedWirez 6 months ago
I agree: complexity requires people as smart as us.
But extreme complexity requires God.
MrTwistedWirez 6 months ago

The point is that there has to be something that has ALWAYS existed.

my theory is that god isnt an almighty being that knows everything because he created everything but instead just a man who lived with a heart and will of a god.
instead of a day of creating oceans the clouds brought water, instead of magically creating plants he planted them all over the globe, instead of creating animals he just discovered them and allowed his son to name them.
etc. I am a man of theories and love to create some almost everyday, has anyone ever gave thought that was is human?

ok, despite being a deist (in a nutshell, god exists but let's things just run their course [further simplified: a way to try to stop religon and science from butting heads}) fox new's response was typical fox news. aka STUPID. Although I do believe in a higher power, there must be some origin to it. And about religon itself: religon was created to bring in morals (like killing is bad [NOT how to live your life]). Turning religon into an insturment of discrimination is an offense to humanity.

It is perfectly logical for someone to question the existence of God, yet so many "Christians" have to be pricks about it. Evolution is fact, by the way. The universe did not come to be in 7 days. I want to live in a world where everyone ELSE can live it their best without the restriction of ridiculous dogma, giving them the incentive to hate gays, other theists, and even themselves. If God does exist, than who created him? No matter what a person's belief is, you can't just justify Premature Existance as simply "being". Everything has been created by something before it. So if God (whether he exists or not) would've needed to been created.

Lozzer70 6 months ago
@theninjacowboy To continue, I agree, your children should not beleive that fire will rain from the sky if they don't confess their love of god. I think that God created the world through the means of Science, and that god acts through other people. Therefore you could say that Darwin and Galileo, as two examples, who both studied as priests, were just, slightly, pushed in the right direction to find out how the world works. Jesus himself said he would come back, but never said in fire...
Lozzer70 6 months ago
And do you think all beleivers hate gays? My uncle is gay, and I he's in the choir! The fact that you are trying to deisprove the fact that god does not exist shows that you, as a person, do not respect the right to believe what you want. I do not agree with Fox News, in fact I think they are the worst media on the planet, and that where I come, Britain, is blessed with not having them on their networks. Plese, I do not want an arguement, I want to be a reasonable as possible.
Lozzer70 6 months ago
@Lozzer70 Not all belivers hate gays, but unfortunately there is a pretty large percentage of christians who do, and belief is often used as an excuse to hate gays even if it is not the real reason. Personally, I dont think most people who claim to hate gays due to their religion actually do, I think they use religion as an excuse. But you can see how someone would think that christianity supports homophobia, with the various anti- gay passages in the bible supporting that argument.
MendrakeD 6 months ago
@Lozzer70 and on the thing about disoproving: thats how science works. our beliefs are based on a lack of faith. we try to disprove everything, even our own ideas! asking us not to try and disprove something is insulting because its a fundemental part of what we belive in. If we could not try to disprove theories, than we would rely on faith. thats not an option due to our beliefs revolving around NOT having faith. And dont get me started on how much christians seem to disrespect us.

@jmpatti55 Well i think that the world has just been here and your right it is sometimes to perfect but you can just thank evolution for that maybe the world was first shit and it took so long for evolution to kick in so what im saying is that take everything humans placed here build here and made here throw that away and that was Earth years ago with Adam and Eve i think the Earth now and the Earth then are no way the same so the idea of Adam and Eve is not true plus What about diseases
zabeenzakia 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
Now explain to me how this all fits into your view of a "perfect world."
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi that is a part of my perfect world we need death. but that is not my point at all forget about life on earth just think about what had to happen to creat gravity that brought matter together to creat a planet. how complex black holes are just stuff like that. I dont realy see how death and pain and horible things that happen to us has anything to do with there being a some sort of creator. do you kind of get what i mean. i just want to know if i make any sence
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
"what had to happen to creat gravity that brought matter together to creat a planet."
How do you God had to do it? You're just assuming it.
Also black holes are actually the simplest objects in the universe... you're talking out of ignorance here.
"I dont realy see how death and pain and horible things that happen to us has anything to do with there being a some sort of creator. "
It shows that any creator cannot be benevolent and that the world is not perfect.

So we are ignorant of what creation requires.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi I think that death plays a perfect role in my perfect world. we need to somehow kill of some of these humans to keep order. the creator gave micro organism the ability to evolve very quickly so we could have something to kill us off when we are to populated. thats what i think. dose that make any sence. please msg me back.
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
A universe where you have to kill people, and apparently do so in a variety of horrific ways is NOT perfect.
Okay, now pay attention: make a world exactly like ours, except that people don't suffer in agony from diseases. They just die peacefully in their sleep. There, I've come up with a world that's closer to perfect than God apparently did.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmio your coment on this univers not being perfect. how do we know what perfect is. it could be that pain is apart of the perfect world. pain shows me how much more good things are there is ying and yang it all works .if the world was perfect all of the time you would not know what beauty was or happyness. it would just be living. so im sorry but i think this world needs pain and suffering even if it is horible.
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
"Perfect" is a word made up by humans.
Tell the women being gangraped to death in Sudan about beauty...
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi well i think of the world as an enitre organism. i dont look at endiveduals. it sucks that people get raped and murderd but i still beleve that this worl is perfect. and explain to me how a black whole works. i know it is made from a masive star compresed into a small space. but i dont think you know much about black wholes i think you are talking in ignorance yourself
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
Black holes can be described by just three numbers; their mass their spin and their charge.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi i think your statment that black holes are simple is outragous because anything you can think of if you go deep enuff and ask enuff questions is going to be so complex that we will never truly under stand it, unless it is man made.
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
That's truly ridiculous.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
"Black holes are the simplest objects in the universe. You can describe one completely by just its mass, spin rate, and electric charge. In contrast, to completely describe a dust mote you're have to specify the position and state of all of its atoms, taking at least $10^16 numbers."

@sdrawkcabgnipytmi its structure my be simple but what is does is complex. and nobody truly knows what happens to matter when it goes through it. there is no way i will ever say a black whole is simple. and didnt you say a black whole has no mass earlyer. and arnt there still just theories about black wholes so nothing your saying is not substitianted. am i right
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55

"i dont look at endiveduals"
Are you saying that you ignore the aspects of our world that don't fit your view of perfection?
Can you define "perfect" for me?
Because the conditions of our world simply don't fit my definition of the word. So you must have some different definition.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi I guess we have a diffrent understanding of what perfect is. and no i do not ignore the the horible aspects of this world i just do not know how to express my interpretation of this universe. i have already explained the best i can how this world is perfect the is a ying and yang of pain and beauty.
you did not reply to my coment about the black hole i guess i was right about you talking out of ignorance.
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
I did reply to your black hole comment (I left two comments).
You don't need suffering to appreciate beauty. That's simply not true. I have a very comfortable life with no real suffering but I have a deep appreciation of beauty. Conversely, someone who dies a slow and painful death probably doesn't have a deeper appreciation of beauty before their last agonizing breath.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi but there death and pain carys on to the surounding people. you dont have to have a horible live to apritiate beauty.
just think if every thing was perfect would you know if you saw beauty if it was around you 24 7 sence you were born.
and your reply on the black whole. black wholes are way more complex then what you decribed. i want you to explain to me what they do and how they do it. EX black wholes bend light beams. stuff like that
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@jmpatti55
Black Holes: They exactly as simple as I described. You can always read about them in detail yourself.
ALL matter bends spacetime and light follows this bent path. Black holes are simply huge concentrations of mass so they bend spacetime to an extreme extent. That doesn't make them complicated.
" if every thing was perfect"
So you admit that this world is not perfect.
sdrawkcabgnipytmi 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi when i sayed if every thing was perfect i was using that statment as seen through your perspective. i worded my sentence prooly it is 4 am here and no to awake. but your right i dont know alot about black holes i just still cant see how they are simple. do you know everything about a black hole NO YOU DO NOT! and to say it is simple is saying that you completly understand the in and outs of how they work. so im saying you statment is outradous still.
jmpatti55 6 months ago
@sdrawkcabgnipytmi but every thing you have sayed i already knew about a black wholes. you are to aragent with your little bit of knowlage. prove to me that you know every thing about a black whole and i will retracked my statment that you are outradous.

Good ole Francis, making the world a better place.

One time this creationist tried to disprove the laws of thermodynamics stating that the only way humans could become more complex would be if there was some huge extraterrestrial source of energy and that there wasnt one...... except for the fact that there is....its called the sun LOL XD

We can't prove God does exist, we also can't prove they don't, so why don't we all stfu and keep to our own beliefs?
Great video anyway :)

@Sirmango101

If you can't answer all three questions, then you cannot say that God doesn't exist.

perfectly sensible explanation for the big bang: Vacuum Fluctuations
look it up :)

Hows about we leave the issue alone and admit that as humans, our view of reality, though ever expanding, is not whole, and rushing to either side of this debate on god is purely an act of faith, seeing as decisive evidence as to both the state/nature of the universe before the big bang and the existence of any kind of "God" has not yet been procured by modern science.
blcdst 7 months ago
What the hell kind of response was that from the Father? I actually expected something a little more... you know... intelligent? Imaginative, even? Just saying, "God," is enough? Fucking modern religion... -_-"
shadowlink3341 7 months ago
.....dude, you just blew my mind!!!

You can believe in the big bang but not God as the creator?

Why can't we all accept that there's no way we could possibly know whether or not there is a god while we're still living rather than trying to prove or disprove it either way? No offence to you, sir, but I'm just saying. I think it's the right thing to do as of now, until we can actually prove or disprove god because right now we can't.

Why do all athiest ask questions like Stephen Hawking?
ULTRAMARIOX 7 months ago
@ULTRAMARIOX Because we believe in what can be proven (or has consistent supporting evidence) such as science. As does Hawking
ChrisAAMO 7 months ago
@ChrisAAMO Then tell me what caused the big bang. as much as I liked to believe that a random explosion caused all of existence, I need some real evidence, not just you saying its been proven, give me evidence.
also, tell me how its impossible that God made the big bang? if there is a creator, then tell me why he wouldn't use something like the big bang to make the universe
