@BananaShake21 what you are getting is called a false set it means you have half picked the lock try turning up the dial on the gun so its stronger and can get past the security pins that are probably causing ur problem

im sure you know how to pick a lock regularly, but personally i strongly dislike pick guns. yes, they may work great, but i believe in the old fashion tension wrench and manual SPP'ing to pick a lock. although pick guns may work well, they are bullshit. no disrespect, thats just my opinion. peace. and pick responsibly.

it slams all the pins upwards, and since you put torsion on the lock, it grabs the pins and lets you turn

JUST AN FYI. He stick the gun in too far and that can cause a lot of problems when you are picking. A rule of thumb is to only stick it in as far deep as the last pin.

So if you have a 5 or 6 pin lock you would stick it in 3/4 to an inch deep leaving about a half to 1/4 inch left outside the lock.

But whatever you can make work for you is what you should use. The way he does it can break your pick gun so be careful.

you might have to ajust the snap.. each lock has diffrent pin resestance. the springs are tougher in some locks.. so maybe play with that ajuster a little.. also make sure you are not sticking it to far into the lock.. make sure you stay under the pins.. I do know they work... especially if you got your pick tool from lockpicktoolscom

lets say you did use a snap pick on a medeco...all it would do it bring the pins to the right sheerline spot but you would still need to rotate each pin to let the side bar fall in..

some medecos dont have pins.

from what i have seen there abot 3 types.

a normal standord one.... a bi axel.. and . uh one other... oh ...maybe its the cam lock.. not real sure.. i dont have any.. wish i did..

medeco's are some seriously good locks. I have been picking for many years and i have never had the beautiful chance to stick my picks in a medeco. .. I only pick my locks or locks i have permission to picks. .. no one i know has any medecos. they are expensive and... have restricted key blanks.

no, on a mececo lock the piun have to be rose to the sheer line and also rotated to the perfect spot for the side bar to fall into little holes on the side of the pin.. and for this.. i highly doubt this tool would work on it.
