I am a single mother and I have recently (January) learned all the crazy truths. I am also a believer in Christ. Please tell me what I can do...I have student loans up to hear, I bought a house 2 years ago... I have credit cards I am trying to pay off as well. I don't know how to get out of this!! I just wish I would have known the real deal a lot sooner. Would appeciate your thoughts & advice Pastor Dowell.
Citigroup Inc. on Wednesday agreed to pay a $285 million fine to settle civil charges brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission that it sold securities backed by mortgages that it simultaneously bet against.
The regulator alleged that Citigroup Global Markets structured and marketed a $500 million collateralized-debt obligation that was backed by subprime loans, and then bet against those mortgage-related assets, which it didn't disclose to investors.
If you go out and get a student loan, you're enslaved? If you made items for a living and someone couldn't afford to buy one outright so you agree to let him make payments, is that person "enslaved" to you or paying what he owes you? Or does that person simply owe you money for what he bought? If you take out a student loan, you owe the money back. If you buy a house, you owe whoever owns it the money, including a bank carrying your loan. Banks ARE crooks but making payments is not enslaving.
@AutoShopVideos I think there is a difference between borrowing a few bucks from a friend and signing yourself over for 5-10 years of paying back mostly money that never existed in physical form plus interest. That is enslavement.
Great clip Pastor. I got rid of Bank of America FAST! Never used their card. No WAY. I've carried 2 cards for the past 20 years, 1 MasterCard & 1 VISA. Oh, I've had plenty offers but I just don't need or WANT them. Actually I could do quite well with no card at all. God Bless you & yours.
My friend, I hate to be cynical, but don't ever show your address like you just did on those envelopes. There are some crazy people out there, and it's always better to be safe than sorry. BTW, I really enjoy your vids a lot. peace.
Pastor, you MUST REST YOUR VOICE!!!! Sorry to yell, but I do so out of RESPECT AND LOVE!!!! Your on your way to losing your voice, clearly, I know from personal experience. Please take care of yourself :-) Anyway, sister Carol, you go woman, rip and cut it AALLLLLLL UP! Amen! I do the same, LOL!
I closed my account at Webster about 3 years ago and they said in a shocked kind of tone, "why are you closing your account here?".
I still have alot of my money in banks because what would happen if the powers that be said the figures in the bank will be converted to a new currency, but the current US paper money and coinage will be basically worthless and owning gold and silver will be outlawed so that the economy can be fixed?
Citi just cut my 27.5 limit card to 500, for no reason. Maybe it was because verizon was trying to steal my money claiming I owed them a $175 early termination fee when they lied about my contract end date by a month leading to a 'pro rated' early term fee. I refuse to pay it, so it is in collections. So i guess its agree to the scams or lose some credit.
You are a wise man to keep you money out of the banks, silver is on sale right now too. Any money you have to keep "in the system" for paying bills and what not I recommend credit unions, they are the anti-bank.
I cant believe how much mail I get from the big banks either, ALL the time I get Chase, BofA, Citi, in the mail Ive NEVER used any of them! But there they are begging to rack up some credit from them...DREAM ON!
Well at least these big bank stocks are getting CRUSHED as we speak, along with that old geezer jackleg Warren Buffet that crook I hope he's bankrupted.
I buy all the silver I can. I also bank at the credit union minimally. All of our debt is almost paid off and never will happen again. We have found that we don't need as much any more. Also stock piling food, guns and ammo too. But how you deal with credit cards is I called the collections department of JP Morgan Chase and told them to either work with me and decrease my interest rate or I was gonna default on their loan. They told me 3 different times they couldn't do it. But they did!!
I had good credit with them, but ever since my husband became unemployed, I Defaulted, and now in debt. I always loyally paid them on time in the past, but now I just can't do it because how the economically. I had to choose pay rent and buy food, or pay them and starve/be on the streets.
@ThePuritan6 They will offer you 50% or more to settle with them eventually. If you are struggling to pay your normal bills then you probably qualify for bankruptcy. USE IT if you need to.
@PastorDowell would you please make a video on God-given rights. I'd like to know if the bible says anything about being free to travel and own things and keep and bear arms.
