@BEASTYGUITARIST there will always be times when music becomes stale and stagnant. Most of the 80s was pretty bad as far as mainstream music goes. Much like it is now. I got better in the 90s, but the "grunge" scene that helped bring rock and roll back from the brink of death itself evolved into severe mediocrity and has now mutated completely into crap. It will take a young generation to bring it back again. The misic scene has cycles and now we're in one of the ruts.
