I'm all for buffalo, some friends in Colorado raised them and I have a hide I tanned myself. They just need lots of room. I used to drive through a heard in eastern Wyoming, they had lots of room. The meat I had was a bit dry' not as tasty as beef, but I'm also into healthy living and I know the nutritional value. Cattle also damage a range walking in the same trail causing erotion, where the buffalo spread out. For a small rancher in a populated area cattle work better
@souieappe Ok well yes they are wild but not impossible to tame (I'm also fully aware you claim to be a farmer/ rancher), this is demonstrated by the fact that we now have farmed bison meat. Also why would god create an animal that was perfect for human use apart from it's violent tendancy (which it usually displays during mating season or when it feels threatened, like any animal).
Plus cattle were 'tamed' during the neolithic period, waaay before the bible's date of the earth's 'birth'. God doesn't love variety but evolution has a knack for producing it.
Creationists accept that domestic cows are descended from other bovines, but point out that the two can interbreed and so are actually still the same "kind". This ignores animals such as the lizard ring species, different species of trout, or all the various species of flies, which do not interbreed, but then they move the goal posts and claim that all members of a "kind" don't actually have to be able to interbreed, conveniently never actually defining what a "kind" is.
@AbbeyNormal When you say about moving the goal posts this is the problem with the Croc-a-duck itself. It's been found, though it would be more accurate to say it's a Duck-a-croc. I have yet to hear a response from a creationist on it's discovery though, funny that isn't it? :P
@TheTempusFugitive Nah, when someone says, "Nice" or "cool", that's when they have nothing to say.
When someone leaves a comment like mine it just means they commented on the first thing that stood out to them rather than watching the whole video. I'd say the problem with creationism and transitional fossils is that we're all essentially transitional forms the moment we reproduce. It's like they miss the subtlety and the reason, instead expecting evolutionary leaps because an animal 'wants to'.
I love biology and evolution videos. One can never learn enough!
Very good question - why should god create the cow, when he already had created the bison. The bison gives more meat as well, doesn't it? Or has god been smoking all the 'pot' he had created, and simply forgot?
Wait a mo, the cow is tamed and artificially bred by humans. I wonder what kind of animal it was before humans got their hands on it. Also, isn't its habitat in the Middle East and Europe, and the bison's - in America?
@dewinthemorning But why do Americans eat more cow than all the rest of the world combined?
And wild cows have differed in places depending on food supplies and climate conditions. The old North-Western European bulls also weighed a ton. Tips of their horns: about a meter apart! Pretty awesome, huh?
@dewinthemorning Well there are species of Bison that exsist in Europe, though I think I'm right in saying their numbers are extremely low. The cattle we have today (at least in Europe) is said to have come from a species of oxen, not too far from the cows we have now. Trouble is, this theory is true of an awful lot of animals, one just needs to look into it :D
Like Coughlan pointed out - if we ever found the Croco Duck it wouldn't actually prove evolution. It would *disprove* it. The creotards are just too thick to realize it.
@TheAtheistSwede Yea I agree & you know I'm fast coming to the conclusion that there is very little reason to make videos TO creationists. They will never listen : P

lol the creationists make me laugh, But transitional fossils are old news that the religiotards hang on to, like they hang on to everything.....old.
DNA and genetic science have categorically proven evolution. We dont need to play their childish fossils games anymore.

@fantasy0coach Yea, in all honesty I make these videos for atheist more than I make them for creationists, mainly because I know they won't listen.

lol yes, unfortunately using words longer than 4 letters loses most of them. It is a really good vid I like your style.

Thebuffalo is a wild unpredictable animal, difficult if not imposable to tame, but cattle are more supple and controllable. God loves variety !
