thanks again for posting man. nissan is the only car company that make a real sports car currently. the rx-8 is good but nothing compared to the rx-7's from the 90's. honda/toyota lost their passion not only lacking sports cars but making softer cars throughout the lineup. only top two wishes are they make this with a manual and bring back the 240sx.

Toyota is not that bad compare to Honda which once had one of the fastest car in japan. At least Toyota made a LFA although its rediculasly expensive. But what does Honda have? A sport hybrid? Yes the civic type r is great but it also show how pity Honda is. They can make a FF car with 2cc engine to do this great but they stop there! And Mazda better come out with a worthy successor of the rx7.

I give Nissan my salute for doing a very good job on the GTR. I wish I could say the same for TOYOTA. In my opinion they lost their balls when they discontinue the Supra twin turbo and its little brother the MR-2 Twin turbo. If you look at Toyota now they ain't got a a single sports car line-up. Nope they don't make the Celica either. All they have are the Vans, the Trucks, the SUV's, 4 Doors, and Hybrids. . They should make another vehicle and they can call it Toyota ReCall.

im a huge toyota fan myself, man. though its true they havent made a decent sports car in like 10 years, they do have future plans! for one they have the new FT86 toyota/subaru joint project coming up. i also hear they're making a new supra.. and when it comes out you KNOW its gonna be beast. i just hope they keep it rwd and straight 6 as before

@MrGthang They do own Lexus and Lexus has the ISF and LFA but I agree, the Supra should come back and no hybrid BS or small engines. The GT-R is a very high benchmark and Toyota will have a tough time beating it.

Nissan is racing their Nissan against what Nissan did in the Porsche??? Uh, lets see Porsche get their own numbers and then have Nissan beat it. NO ONE else noticed this??? Maybe Next week Ford can get some track numbers on a Vette with with Ford supplied drivers and then have their same drivers Test their own car for comparisons. NO ONE else noticed this? Nissan races Porsche but uses Nissan drivers in the Porsche? Does Porsche get to use their driver in the Nissan? What a joke.

Mr. Ghosn wanted car no. 1 of the GTR production line. What pride to own. And for a guy of his age, stat, and financial capability, he chose to buy this than a Porsche or a Ferrari... surely he chose without bias to Nissan, but he simply liked his project. Job Well Done!
