Regarding blinking - when an actor doesn't blink a lot it's a sign they're acting! You can actually seem them remembering the lines if you look closely. Most actors show this "I'm saying what I've learned" in their eyes - particularly in monologues.

The method approach to acting would make the speech more natural but it's a good scene nonetheless.

It's definitely a great speech and everything, but the claim that it "syncs" with the music is pretty tenuous except in the last 40 seconds or so, and that's because the speech and song had a crescendo for roughly the same period of time. This doesn't hold a candle to syncs like Dark Side of the Rainbow or even that one with the scene from Contact and Echoes
