I like the dub because the background music sounds waaaay better. It sets the mood especially during action scenes and the voices aren't as high pitched. I just ... didn't really like the immense editing they did with the scenes and the dialogue.

man do this english dubs suck, i mean unnecesary sound effects and scores, erase plot lines and events that affect directly the story, also for most ocasions the dialog completely misleads from the original vision of the author

"its the dream", what a sily line, if you you watch a few seconds later you wont need half a neuron to discover that

and the score when she finds the book supousdely a suspense effect....not really i laughed instead

For some reason I guess they feel their japanese names would confuse the ones watching it, they did the same darned thing to sailor moon I don't mind the japanese or the english dubbed versions I just hate it when they change their names of most of the characters...

I forgot in the anime they had English names. I just finished reading the manga online and felt nostalgic. Tori is named Touya in the manga (means peach blossom). Jullian is named Yukito. Sakura and Touya's mother is Nadeshinko, which is another flower's name. And I'm sure you all know Sakura means "cherry blossom".
