What are they doing? I checked out this video, cauz I heArd this tune at a party the other nite. It brought memories. Basically, white folk can't dance.
That type of dancing is from the Carolina coast - they call it "Shag" dancing and I seriously doubt they were playing this tune. That culture is more into sixties R&B. Not 70s funk.
This video is about how cool this song is and you can enjoy it . It has nothing to d with race, it has o do with enjoying one of th grooviest songs . This reminds me of when wewould only dance slow dances with the girls and just getting the hang of moving and groovin. Don't be negative see the positvie in things. These white folks are enjoying a song by Blacks, so what ..... Get Down! Seward School class of 77 Rules............. remember when we used to be so happy
What the hell is this video about and WTF DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH ONE OF THE FUNKIEST JAMS OF ALL TIME?!!!! White people wouldnt be caught dead dancing to this song AT THAT TIME!
@jd7779311 Beg to differ Dude. Me and a friend of mine cleared the floor at the EM club dancing to this song at Ft. Jackson in 1977! Remember, dancing is intercourse without interaction. (Insert nasty laugh here) Gotta admit it wasn't by dancing like these people, but different strokes for different folks- Even "white people"

@jd7779311 – You're wrong JD. This was a smash in the soul underground in the UK where white danced with black.
