I have one of those swiss tech tools, and they are great! The steel they use is high quality as well as the craftsmanship. I also highly recommend it as a gift. Thanks for your review.
Hey, good video. I went out and bought the same little multi-tool. BTW, the keyring is actually the "pliers" when they are closed. Kind of a false advert. but it does work.
I almost missed this video somehow! Good ideas. I have that book, its pretty good. The guy that wrote it is an old-time woodsman from way back when, before they made all the gadgets that we have now.
I bought the version of the multitool with a LED light. Very cool to see it in a video. The Christmas lights around the products alone was worth a few stars. Great job.
Don't take it personally bro, I just think it's too small to be of use, especially the pliers. It's like carrying a .25 when you should never carry smaller than a .380, know what I mean?
And I'm a state certified Master Plumber (and former Boy Scout and Marine, if that matters), so I have a little experience with tools.
You should purchase a larger multi-tool if this one is too small for you. But to call this one useless is unreasonable. The tool has many uses and applications. If you read through the comments you'll see many people have and love this tool. How can you just dismiss a tool you;'ve never even used? I'm not going to rebuild an engine with it, but for everyday purposes it is definatly worth the 5 bucks. Who says you should never carry less than a 38? It would be better to have a 22 than nothing.
Actually Ryan, I have used this toll and can say that it's usefulness is very limited. But, that said, in a pinch I would much rather have the micro pliers than try to make adjustments and fixes with my bare hands. Good items with the understanding about the pliers.
i dont feel like going through comments so sorry if you already heard this but you hook the pliers on the key ring so youd open it and close the pliers around your keyring and then fold up the tool
I can defiantly vouch for the book "HOW TO STAY ALIVE IN THE WOODS" by Bradford Angier I have it, what many people don't realize is that much of the material in the Military Survival Manuals FM 21-76 and 3-05.70 are taken from this book and other works by this author...Another plus for this book is that the cover is heavy embossed OD green rubber coated, making it water resistant, also the book size is compact enough to take in you pack. Great pick Ryan! ;-)
Keep us updated if you find more ideas of any kinid.
Also...no disrespect but that jeff Canadian guy is a douche and should be avoided. He has not posted any good videos in a long while but complains alot. I know I will be banned.

You can use the pliers end as the key ring connection. Just open up the tool and close the pliers around your key ring.

I´ve got that tool too.
Unfotunately it coast about 15€ in Germany: Thats 20 $!
There is a possibility to get in on your key chain:
If you get your keyring into the head of the tool and you fold it it is on your keyring.
Thanks for your videos and greetings from Germany!
