  • Thumbs down for wearing a hat on backwards while shooting a mosin.

  • You need a scope to hit that? WOW!!!

  • Funny how he loads a single round after the video starts when the damn thing has a 5 round internal. Trying to be cool and do what you saw in "Shooter"?

  • Nice rifle! Looks like a comfy setup.

  • what scope mount are you using?

  • [NOT TROLLING] ear protection? and that fool diddnt secure the backround. what if there are people walking in that forest?

  • Also wasn't firing into trees there is a 1 inch steal plate at a 45 degree angle with an additional 1/2 on the back from an 8mm breaking through

  • 6 out of 10 hit on a 5'x5 target at 1000 yards with a barska 40mm 6.5-24 power with a 7 mpg nw wind shooting se with snow falling

  • @Studleyhunter18 do you mean mph? or does your gun really get 7 miles per gallon?

  • Bolt is still holding tight even through an unfortunate house fire... Turned it into a 1000 yard tack driver about 4 months later with some handloaded 310 hornady 155 grain and rifled it into a 1 in 10 tbp ended up taking the fps up to 3670 so it gets there fast

  • @Studleyhunter18 That is what I am looking to do with my sporter. Can you send me the ballistic and reloading info on what you did? Right now, the only thing I have is Wolf Premium brass 148gr. FMJ (non-corrosive). I know it isn't hot enough, but I would like to do more mods to my rifle. My problem is the lack of competent gunsmiths in my area, LOL.

  • hows that bolt handle doin? she stay tight?

  • firing into trees :s not the best backstop considering people could be walking in it, chances are slim but the bullet will travel near 2 miles if it cleared past the trees. hopefully a good backstop there somewhere cuz seen so many videos of people sending bullets into open space ;s

  • @groundlight actually at that angle it won't travel maybe a half mile. remember bullets are not magic, they do not fly straight. they fall with gravity just like everything else

  • If someone wants to sporterize HIS gun, then what's it matter to you?

  • yeah i guess your right. for some reason i just like the look of mine and i dont think my dad would let me change my stock. so i will have to keep it that way.

  • where did you get your scope mount and how much did it cost?

  • last time i shot mine i was 13 and now im 14 and the recoil is really nice but the gun is really heavy so im thinking of getting a new stock for it and a modern scope. do you know where to get a new stock and how much did your scope cost?

  • @studleyhnter18 where did you get that ammo holder for the stock? i just got this stock and i need an ammo holder like this

    thanks

  • maybe someone wants to sporterize it for hunting or target practice because i know for a fact that the original wood stock of the m91/30 is heavy and it would be easier to kill a deer with a lighter stock and who cares anyway? the damn rifle is like 100 dollars if your all pussy about it then buy a regular one and buy another one for the monte carlo

  • O..........M............F............G i have that same construction cone and some body stole it two days before you took this video? conquidencs? i dont think so. btw who the fuck sportizes a mosin nagant>? there is history there > your dumb?

  • @12ArmyStar Who gives a shit. i sported mine, after i took the original wood stock off, i pissed on that russian trash, and used it as firewood for my hunting trip.

  • @Michael117american lol, as much as i love the wood stock on mine, this is funny as shit. I sported mine as well, but kept the original stock, and nothing i plan to do will permanently alter the gun (besides drill and tapping the receiver for a scope. still a work in progress. Have the monte carlo stock, still need my rocksolid industries scope mount, and bent bolt body so i can keep my straight bolt body (unlike the piece of shit ATI bolt where you have to cut the bolt)

  • @joe735 Stupid question, but why keep the wood? Unless you have a rare version, you can buy a surplus wood stock somewhere else.

  • @worpt80 Why would i buy a wood stock i already have? The wood stock is extremely fitting for the rifle, and has a feel to it you just cant get from the ATI stock. I have the ati stock, and its just not the same solid feel of the wood stock. Not to mention the fit on the ATI is a bit off. It even says in the package that the stock requires "some" (more like extensive) sanding to fit better. Even then, its not perfect.

  • @12ArmyStar

Yes, there is history, and there are tens of millions of the same history. And that history is a poor dumb Russian being killed. That's all, nothing special. If it was a Mauser, Enfield, Mas, or a 1903, I'd be pissed. But this is a Mosin Nagant, a different scenario. The same can be said for pennies. Obviously, you don't cherish them.

  • O..........M............F............G i have that same construction cone and some body stole it two days before you took this video? conquidencs? i dont think so.

  • Te bi pod seems a little high.

  • nice rifle i did the same thing but i have a scout mount with the same bent bolt you have. how accurate is yours? my scout mount sucks so im replacing it and sometimes my rounds will tumble. any advice?

  • @jamesrobertmey take the rear sight completely off and there is a 3/8" dovetail there
