  • thanks soooooooooooooooooooooo muth you can not believe how muth help this was for me thks peace from belgium

  • WHEN I GO TO DEVICES AND CLICK ON THE PLUG IN INFORMATION DEVICES HOW DO I USE ALL THE INSTRUMENTS IN CUBASE?

  • which is better fl studio or cubase?

  • Hi, how do you play notes with your regular "typing" keyboard? (for example in fruity loops its the bottom row of letters)

  • @Caivr I don't, I use a MIDI keyboard attached via USB. I'm not sure you can use the keyboard to play notes.

  • @Caivr You need to show the virtual keyboard in the transport bar thing. It's alt + k for me, but you can also get it up by right clicking the transport panel and ticking the virtual keyboard. (It disables all keyboard commands while it's up) :)

  • Really helpful tutorial! Even for me that gots cubase 6

  • thanks for the vid. Im trying to get guitar rig 4 to work as a plugin for cubase. I've located the vst2 folder for cubase but I can't find any file in guitar rig 4 ending in dll. Where specifically would I find this file and what would it be called? Thanks again. The steinberg support team couldn't even get me to this point.

  • @SpeedDrummer88 If Guitar Rig 4 is a program, it might have setup its own VST folder, so you would have to tell Cubase where that folder is. You would add that as per the instructions after 03:55.

  • Iv added my vsts manually in windows.. by just dragin the dlls into the right folder, and iv done it in the cubase plug in information.. but the vsts doesnt appear anywhere.. whats wrong? thanks

  • what is keebase? :p

  • wtf are you talking about? I put a lot off dll files in that VST folder, but no on is appear... So where is the problem?

  • @ridiska Rewatch the video again, fool. It sounds to me you need to tell Cubase where your VST folder is, which I've covered in this video. Next time, post your comment a little more politely!

  • @KurtisICT I've had essentially the same problem.. cubase recognizes which folder is to be used for .dll files, but none of the file which I put into the folder show up when I restart and check in the program.

  • @KurtisICT also.. when I go to VST instruments, there are only two slots available. I don't know if that's connected to my initial problem, but it just doesn't seem right.

  • @TheEmotionalstone I think that's the version of Cubse you have. I'm not sure what I can tell you other than look into getting another version of Cubase? If there's only two slots available, then you can only add two custom VST's. Which version of Cubase do you have, you know?

  • @KurtisICT I have Cubase AI 5

  • @TheEmotionalstone I think that's the problem then, this video assumes the full Cubase 5.

  • sounds like keith lemon haha

  • i got nexus but i dont no how to put it in cubase Any help Plzzzz !

  • thanks, im just getting started with cubase 5

  • why wouldnt mine work... i moved it to ur file directory yet cubase doesnt seem to show it up

  • @aldosalomoni and also, in plug in information, the vst doest show in their.

  • @aldosalomoni omg im sorry, i mean " it does show up "

  • why when you click on "VST Instruments" do 64 spaces appear?

for mine, only 2 slots appear..how do you increase the number of slots?

  • How do you do this on Cubasisgo 3.0!?

  • thanks .. very helpful!!!

  • Thank you very much for your kind instructions on this video... Keep going with your deeds and skills with music and stuff! I wish the best for you!

    My best regards!

  • thanks you are star.

  • thanks!

  • ok bud.. its like this.... i can install guitar rig to install on 3 computers with all the pre sets in them... well it prompts me to import them on install. these 3 pc's are all 32 bit systems running xp on them. My laptop with cubase 5 on board in running windows 7 and has a 64 bit system.... and it will not import the guitar rig presets..... i have installed and reinstalled again and again...no luck... someone has suggested that there is a bit of a bug with gr4 and 64 bit systems...

    any ideas

  • i cant seem to get guitar rig ddl plugin to work correctly with all its pre sets...

any idea what i may be doing wrong?

  • @richardinthedisco I need more information mate, have you decompressed all your files, and are you putting the DLL's into the correct folder?

  • Does Cubase support .wav sounds?

  • @nuen8 Yeah I think it does

  • @KurtisICT have you tried it before?

  • @nuen8 You're asking this on a VST installation video. What you trying to accomplish?

  • @KurtisICT uhhh, use the .wav pads from FL studio on there. why?

  • @nuen8 Okay what you'll need to do is rewire it mate. Going from a tutorial I just found online, click on 'Devices' at the top, and click on a link saying along the lines of 'FL Studio Rewire.' Turn on the first 16 channels or so on the list you should now see. Now launch FL. If the channels are like Reason, they'll correspond to a mixer you should be familiar with in FL, so put your sounds through that, then select them from the black box in Cubase on the left in 'inputs.' Hope this helps!!

  • @KurtisICT NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! WELL SCREW IT, never mind i ask :)
