  • Awesome. I love regular 8mm. I don't know what Workprinter XP is but I think an amateur could get a similar effect, or at least a better effect than video taping a projection, by doing a high resolution scan of the film itself on a regular flat bed scanner, then edit each frame and paste together an animation in a video editing program. To imitate the flicker effect of film you could just double the play back frame rate and insert a full black screen every other frame.

  • Check out my website for answers on the transfer:

    Google: SUPER 8 MAN

Otherwise, I use a Canon GL2 to transfer with a Workprinter XP - I do not recommend shooting off the wall unless you take some time and really get a decent setup...

  • how in the hell did you get it to transfer so clear? i just uploaded a regular 8 and it looks blury, but looks GREAT off the projector.

  • I love the color saturation on this film. Too bad it is no longer available. I am trying other formats myself.

  • Excelent!! Where did you buy Cinechrome 25 ??!

  • Wow! Add some music too it.

  • I love the colors and detail. You know, with cinchrome 25, it is a wonder that people haven't been trying more to innovate reg-8. it is a better system than super8 and super8's pitfalls can often make it the same or worse than reg8. Pressure plate, registration, etc.

  • HI, nice S8 footage, I have a Beaulieu 2008s, but batteries dont work...

  • It's reg-8. Just a friendly heads up.
