im a die hard habs fan and other than saku koivu i generally dislike all other ducks and most other other players, however i watched this video twice and it made me cry. at the end of the day, who cares about hockey? it's a game that unites people and brings joy to many. there is someone watching over us, because stuff like this doesn't just happen. i wish you and your friend the best teemu. i hope he'll live as long as possible.

I can see it's a different thing for english speaking folks to get things with umlauts wrong because there are no ä or ö in the english language. We've pretty much gotten used to it already - and at least there are no ae or oe used instead of the right letters.

We had a ski jumper called Janne Väätäinen some years ago, I remember seeing his last name written as Vaeaetaeinen. Nevar again;)

wow that gave me chills. i believe everything happens for a reason. that really touched me because my aunt passed away of cancer in september. does anyone know if his friend lived? now i love teemu. i always thought he was good but now i see what a good guy he is too. the thing about the nhl is that all the players are great guys. like in other sports there's players driving drunk and doing drugs and all that but the nhl you dont have that and it makes me a proud fan. <3

Teemu is the best and has a great family...the coolest thing about the Hockey players is they honer their parents. When they won the Cup last year the first thing they (most of them) asked to have their parents/wives/kids join them on the ice.
