As a socialist, I absolutely detest Wes Streeting's politics and what he's been doing in NUS. I have a £15K student debt because of self-serving Blairites like him attacking NUS's democratic structures and stopping NUS from doing anything which might embarrass his cronies in New Labour.

However, a private life is a private life, and as long as he's not hurting anyone, I couldn't care less what he gets up to in his spare time.

aving just back from the NUS conference and must agree with maddyhh. This guy truly is a vile cretin.He represents those who wish to undermine the NUS as a strong,radical, campaigning union which actually stands up for our interests i.e. strengthening of democratic structures within NUS

No one has the right to criticise beliefs of another just because they differ from yours, Im independent of any political party & dont like being called a sheep, its this approach that stops both you/others from being taken seriously! Im looking forward to change and Blackpool! Lets see if you can construct a proper argument for the amendments that are trying to convert the governance into the old const with a few adjustments around the edges or just carry on using the blunt tool of slander!
