@AlanSessler canon 7d is a dslr camera, no lens adapter needed. i use the rode videomic, it plugs into the 7d's 1/8th microphone jack, message me if you have any other questions!

@yeahitsmateo its all manual focus that you have 100% control over so you can adjust it as you please and focus on what you want to focus on....Manual is the way to go noone does auto and all SLR are manual focus

I'm currently using FCP Studios 3 and when I add any thing, example: (text layer) to the video it glitches frames. (Example) i have 10:00 Min video, The first 10 seconds plays video then about 00:11 I add a text overlay left hand corner to say a persons name, when that fades in the video glitches and skips frames, then glitches at the end of the fadeout of that text. I only experience this on the Canon 7D footage. Any ideas anyone? I've used FCP for over 10 years and Pro camcorders for 4.

@DefineUsMedia The 7D videosare hard to work with. Use compressor to convert the files to Pro Res or DVCPro HD 720p. It easier to edit with.
