great show indeed ! high quality all the way ! I´m 57 now,and today I´m walking on kinda memory lane visiting all the sites from tv shows back in the 60´s. Funny is that many of those shows were released in The States in late 50´s but got here in Brazil only in the 60´s. And I was lucky ´cause I grew up with a tv set,something that would be avaiable to most people only in the late 70´s. Greetings from Sao Paulo,Brazil

Yes, Mr Drury is very much alive, I met him here in Ireland last August and again in Houston in October. It was the 14th Anniversary of Doug McClure's death on February 5th.

Haha, this show is taken off TG4, an Irish language station back home. Yet the guy that posted it up appears to be a muslim from Russia, mysterious :) Thanks a lot anyway, really enjoyed this show...great theme tune.

By the way: The name of TV Western "The Virginian" on German TV was " Die Leute von der Siloh-Ranch" or you would say "The people of the Siloh-Ranch"

Saw all this TV Western in late 60th and early 70th, when I was a little boy... ;-)

I think the reason it hasn't been rerun much is because of its 90 minute length; few channels want to use up that much airtime on just one old series now. Too bad, it was a great show.

That has to be the greatest TV western title sequence. Maybe not as famous as Bonanza but artistically, much classier!

Drury had a dark yet redeeming appeal.
