  • Wow....This is amazing. I've made other cakes before and always wanted to make carrot cake but never got a chance to. I wrote down all the ingredients step by step and followed them. Came Out PERFECT!!!

    Thank you so much for the detailed video and explanations, I made a cake and used the excess batter to make cupcakes. One thing to note is not to put too much batter in the pan or it will sink in when cooled :-)

  • Uggh! It tasted so bland. It needed double the amount of cinnamon and needed nutmeg too. My cake did not bake in 30 minutes--more like 1 hour. Wound up throwing this cake out. It smelled doughy and tasted poopie.

  • I have tried this for the 1st time & it TURNED out to be PERFECT along with the cream cheese frosting . My girlfriend is requesting this for a long time and last week is our 1st year anniversary I surprised her by doing this CAKE she loved it & shared it to her colleagues.   • The only part I hated about making this cake was grating the carrots. Apart from that, this was one of the easiest cakes I've ever made. It seems to be fail proof; and now everyone keeps asking me to make it for them :)

  • @anisahsc Yay! That is great! Congrats! I do not think the cream cheese frosting will taste good without sugar. Why don't you make a little batch with Spenda or sweetner? You might like the taste. Good luck!

  • I am definitely going to try this recipe. The only job is grating the carrots. If I cut them in big chunks and put them in a processor, they can become very wet, is that alright?

  • @candi2082 You can substitute whole wheat for white as long as it is the same i.e all purpose for all purpose; bread for bread; etc. You need to sift the whole wheat flour a few times so it gets so air in it and your cake is not really heavy and thick.
