  • Excelent reading... :¬D

  • Congratulations on the baby S! I've heard through SSJ what a lovely child you had and my best wishes to you and M :) Miss you so much and hope this gave you a laugh. I promise I wont be reciting at any future parties :P

  • thank you kind sir, so you missed the introduction vid then :¬D and good to know that your not going to do any readings at future parties :¬D

  • You are infectious, loved this, kept trying to keep my own face straight 'cos it was serious LOL. Cheers, Lesley

  • Brilliant! Kept me laughing whilst I was on hold to the stupid gas company and even helped me not to explode at them. Another place for you to visit is the one the Romans called Deva you can shoot any Welshman within the City Walls there!

  • Hahahahahahahaha! seriously...

  • Very serious indeed!

  • As long as you continue to crack up while you read them I'll watch...thanks for making me smile :)

  • I'm so pleased that you came around this way! Just keep in mind that I'm available for bookings at all parties ;)

  • Just keep in mind I expect some kind of dancing when I book you :)

  • A laughing poet dancer lol that can be arranged!

  • If they are all as much fun, please continue John! York is a fascinating town. It has a beautiful Cathedral where medieval knights are buried, a great river where you can get on a boat, have a meal and party. There are many pubs which facilitate the ghostly image you describe too. One thing kinda put me off; they still have a law which says that the people of York can, nay MUST shoot a Scotsman on sight....with their deadly bow and arrows lol. 'Tis why this Scot kept his mouth shut!

  • Thank you Hic! I truly cannot wait to explore York as soon as I am in England. However, we must warn PeriUrban (UrbanBlog) about their peculiar laws regarding Scotsmen!

  • LOL! I think that's why Peri stays in Scotland most of the time. The natives aren't quite as restless.

  • Now that was art. Nice use of the new annotation feature too. Well done.

  • I quite like that annotation feature ... for any afterthoughts. Cheers!

  • Methinks you may have been "taking the proverbial"! Keep it up!

  • Not as strong as the "proverbial" pudding at Huey's place during our mini meetup ;) Thanks for being here R!

  • This is actually really good. Serious? but really funny.

  • lol thank you

  • Well you had me laughing along with you John.

I think that's what they call "corpsing", which seems very appropriate :)

  • "corpsing" is quite the perfect word considering the topic lol Glad to make you laugh Andy :)

  • lamo MIDevil? do you mean MEDevil times? and who let the laghing gas out near the end? it sounds more like story than poerty.....:-)

  • This was worse than the pet Elephant story I told you ;) And yes those times were very Evil in the middle of that century, so Mid Evil. *love* - John

  • This was... said Harry, "very clever!" ;)

  • Thank you ... said Harry ... as he sipped coffee and whiskey, Irish coffee? lol

  • Actually, contrary to recent remarks, today is pseudo Mexican coffee day. Yup.

    *sips her lime implanted Corona*

(uh oh... she is referring to herself in the 3rd person... what does this mean?) :)

  • Ahh you see, It means you could be a poet just like me ... Living a Hollywood studio hut has it's privileges ;)

  • Sorry for the delay - (those damn wardrobe and makeup people really fuck up my day...)

  • Laughing with you all the way there buddy. :) How you kept a straight face for 75 percent of it i don't know!!!

  • Thanks Kardel, I have no idea how I managed that either. Thank goodness for the sirens lol - John

  • never mind straight face! I think a straight jacket is more in order! lol! ;)

  • a bit of ghost writing i think john

  • Classic line Pope lol

  • Let's have some proper decorum when reading that. It's serious shit. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get all those Roman ghosts to march together like that? Most ghosts want to wander off on their own and not take orders from anybody. This is an impressive performance for them to go through the brick walls like that.

  • Oh yes it's very difficult, every time I see Roman ghosts marching I always wonder where their general is. I myself tried to go through a brick wall after this performance.

  • 'Under Richard II at the helm'

Oh this is classic English Literature!

    *giggles*

  • Samsarajade, it's what you always said about words - on their own they sound, well quite peculiar LOL. God I love poetry!

  • Ah yes it reminds me of the great Vogon poets I encounterd while Hitch-hiking round the Universe with Ford Prefect. Of course they are only the third worst in the universe so you need more practice!

  • LOL! You see Random, I'm sure you could notice that I got off to a nervous start while lighting the ciggy, but then I composed myself quite well I thought!

  • good of you to already be sporting a white jacket for those interns arriving from the Happy Meadows Sanitarium! LOL

  • Always ready to facilate my friends at the Santatorium lmao - John

  • I think we need more of this serious british poetry. I'll brew some Earl Grey for the next in the series.

  • Sounds like a plan lol - John

  • Oh, My sides hurt!

Thanks for topping off the weeks' end!

I found the timeline not 4.54, as stated, but 22.13!

    {Due to the replay of each interruption & outburst of laughter}

I can't "Thank You" enough for this!

    Beautiful!

    As ALL-Ways!!

    PEACE.

    faved & saved

  • Thank you! LOL 22.13 ... I'm still laughing and your comment made my night good friend. Peace :)

  • LoL! No, really! =)

And it was very deep and touching.

  • Ahh yes I have a special way when reading that touches all hearts lol

  • Haven't drunk tea for a while, should do this also again. Interesting story about York.

Didn't know about your middle name. There's always a surprise. My middle name is Torsten ;o)

  • Sven ... Isn't there a Torsten Differential in cars? Wait, it could be Torsen ;) Serious poetry like this is very important.

  • I think it is Torsen ;o)

  • Classic! :) well done, and the reverb brings it home :))

  • You're an excellent poet bartolemeo, listened to your work - and to get a seal of approval from you guarantees I'll make the big time ;)

  • Thank you for the very kind words, John. I should be getting back to it within the week. Have a great weekend.

  • First and last I hope....lol rock on

  • lol I'll try harder next time ...

  • *bows down* after having brought you to tears, well ... to "giggles" lol

  • you did a great job!

  • No where near as good as your singing. Trust me I won't go far lol

  • Sweet one --- ahhh, you must read poetry to me like this - I loved your laughter - please laugh more!!!! This was fantastic, no better reading than this - I just loved it - I couldn't stop laughing with you and for sometime after!!!!! hahahahahah

  • I'm quite a poetic genius ... lol

  • If British poetry was read this way often, it would have my undivided attention, and that's hard to do!!!! :)

  • I just love ya!

  • You had me at "ghost spottings" XD Encore, Mr. Reagan, encore! When shall you grace us with your presence in London?

  • Well I should be there soon, and I shall be participating in some London poetry venues. I've heard I could take the London underground by storm ...

  • Now that they have banned alcohol on the tube-they're going to need poetic culture like this to uplift them!

    :D

  • I didn't mean THAT London underground!

  • hahahahaha, I know!

I'm still crying with laughter. . . I mean, crying with passion from the poetic intensity of your words!

  • said Harry. . . . . best line ever in a poem!

  • But why would Harry be drinking tea in the middle of the interview, when they interviewed him?

  • BECAUSE HE'S BRITISH!!!!!!!!!!

  • perculiar!
