@mylulac I've been a fan of Adam's for a few years now. He may be a singer/songwriter and has a knack for beautifully written lyrics like his father, but he is certainly his own artist. Don't get the 2 confused. If you took more time to listen to Adam's music you would see some huge differences. He had a wonderful teacher in his father, but that;s as far as that goes. Try to be more open minded. Adam has really found his own voice and maybe you should try to find it too:) It could be worth it!

He's been trying to find a style of his own in years and years and has tried so many different things until he finally realized he can't be something other than he is and so he decided to be like that. Just because he is Leonard Cohen's son it doesn't mean Adam can't belong in the same music genre as his father. If you - or anyone else - can't help but compare him or think of him according to his father, then the problem is yours - not his.
@EvieHelenJones I don't like anyone who copies my favorite singers, sorry, even if it's his son. He just really sounds just like Leonard. I used to love Julio Inglesias, his son made it with his own style. I like them both, totaly different. It can be done. Too bad Adam can't find his own.
@mylulac I dont understand how can you say this is copy. When a singer have a certain tone of voice and range, is best for them to stick to a certain genre. Of course their voice are similar but Adam write his own song so I dont know how can you say he copied his father.
Perhaps he tried to different style before and just realize what work best for him. listen to his song hey jane from the early day with low million and he singing that song live. you will see what i mean

A beautiful set of lyrics, sung beautifully, and rythmically. What woman would want for more? OK money, money, money. This is the track that could generate that addional revenue stream that is seemingly required by artistes today.
