other games get so boring when ur a high leveled char (because of the lvling)....

but in this game....u will never get bored when ur a high lvled player....it gets better when ur lvling up and u can go to many places which is cool,only one thing is what other hates the most...traveling....it takes 2-3 mins from suginami(city) to another home point (shinjiku babel)

@needo2new There are spells for that and you have your Demon partner to help you. Most of them have AOE attacks.

Why does a Star of David appear on the "enemies" (monsters, whatever you call them) when you attack them?

@TheWachipatau They are called demons. If you know Megaten is a mash up of all Religions and mythologies.

The star is more of like a Lock on. I never paid attention to that but I think it's an Explanation.

You have to played the original RPG games of Shin Megami to enjoy this game.

I grew up playing Shin Megami, i have *almost* all of the games. But i love that they are basing the game off of the original story. The world was destroyed by nuclear missiles, and the world is now a battlefield between Heaven and Hell. God is trying to set up the thousand year kingdom on earth and destroying all demons, while Lucifer is attempting to bring a world of total chaos and freedom. Its really good.

@kirosun it's not pets o.o...it's your partner in for combat o.o.....the best part for this game is the good unique battle system, it's so completely different from any other game I play. Yes the graphic is hilariously sucks, but don't "judge the book by it's cover", this game is 100% Pawn-age, and yes you will have a hard time controlling the game, but you will enjoy this game even better when you have created a GOOD Build Character. And the good build i mean "Very Good Build"

How can anyone say this looks stupid? It's one of the more.....unique MMO's in the whole market...everything else is point, click, kill, do over. This essentially is too but...it's much more involving than that shit.

lol you can get good wihtout AP, it's just not easy. I'm a none AP buyer and i'm lvl75 melee with all SS and half tarots done. The adv. is of having the AP armour being able to be bought by other players with game money but at a real cost. Although prices have gotten cheap so it's a good chance to get what you can.
