this was written for double bass. Go to shostakovich if you want more cello but your level of playing seems to lack. Good luck keep the practice up but don't ever try to play a Double Bass on a cello. Basses can get up to cello a lot easier
My level of playing "lacks" because I played about 3 months total (I have no cello to play on at the moment) - I did my grade 1 and that is all, I don't make any claim to be a cellist let alone a good one. Someone else arranged this piece, I played it as an exam piece.
i did this piece but on the cello then on the doubble bass its a hard piece to do but try pressing harder on the strings. it could help!!! but the best thing is to try really hard t practice.
you had only been playing 3 months and you were playing this well? this is wonderful!!

Your quite good. i am learning this piece and it's taking me a millenium. Kmt...It's nice but i just be bovvered at the moment.

you mean the first 2 notes right?
but cellos are not EADG.. I think they are CGDA.. so the A string is much too high.
