  • good fishing. what rod and reel at 6:50?

  • @MrZambrano84

Avet 80 and a custom Barrett shark rod.

  • @BlacktipH Sorry, I meant the spinning reel!

  • @MrZambrano84

    Which one?

  • @BlacktipH the one that caught the redfish at the end

  • @MrZambrano84

I believe that is an Okuma Salina.

  • You guys rock! Looks like good fishing!

  • ooooh shit 8D

  • where is that fishing walkway.. ? u guys should make more videos.. these are the ones i look foward too

  • That reel/rod looks sick, especially in red. How many yards of braid and of mono did you have on it?

  • @xseth99x

    600yds of 130 braid and 200lb of 200lb mono.

  • @BlacktipH thats what happens when you dont share fishing spots ha ha

  • @viequesboy01

No, this is what happens when the fish pops the line.

  • Maravilha de pesca, sonho com algo assim,

    parabéns!

  • cool xD

  • In Texas we would think it's crazy to just put one hook in a decent sized bait like that. It usually takes us 10-20 minutes to rig up a good bait. Me and my brother were talking about it and I think it's just that down here a big shark is something you'll hear about maybe once a month, but in Florida you guys are hooking into giants on a weekly basis!

  • @PVAngler91

    Pinfish

  • good video guys

  • man I gotta head out there. that's awesome. I'm down in homestead.

  • You guys rock!

  • Extreme fishing? haha not at all!!!

  • what net are you using en 1:57 times?

    please tell me :)

  • @jj701024

    It's a castnet.

  • Love this man haha, especially the red avet those 80's are awesome reels.

  • 3 dayss in a row we caught 3 tiger sharks from a jetty is that skilled or wat

  • were is these

  • It really is amazing the amount of fish in that channel. In Spain we do not have as easy (in the channels is forbidden to fish) but the truth that the difficulty is grace. Greetings Fellow.

  • ur been to agressive thats why you loose the fishhh enjoy the fight man

  • @paulopreis1001

When it comes to big sharks, you can enjoy the fight after you stop them from peeling line. Until then you're just hoping he doesn't spool you.

  • @BlacktipH truth is that i can argue cuz i never had a fight with a shark only big rays and its not the same regards and i also check your channel great videos man

  • @BlacktipH what kind of rollers were those

    stuarts?

  • @carolinakingfisher12

    Yes sir.

  • i use penn 4/0 you do not have to worry about getting spooled

  • @carolinakingfisher12 your probably using 50 lb braid, they have about 500yds of mono with 300yds of braid backing, of something like that, they almost have triple the line strength you do.

  • Hahahah, he looked sooo heart broken when his line snapped...I know the feline :( and its always the biggest ones that get away too!

  • Love your vids man, been down there a few time, not many tho, live near the port so its a pretty far drive. Great vid!

  • thats sick big red drums like that all day in destin Fl/destin bridge

  • i catch bigger fish with a smaller pole. i fish in the bay for usually surgeon which are pre historic and can get up tp 18 ft lng

  • damn thats an exciting sound

  • One of the best fishing vids I've seen for quite a long time.... bad luck on the lost fish mate

  • hahaha that fishing rod! its for giants

  • where is this?

  • @gator1freak sebastian inlet state park, melbourne, florida

  • @gator1freak

    Sebastian Inlet.

  • @BlacktipH is that an avet 80w and if so were did you get it in red

  • @tonyel120

Yes it is and you can get them in any color. Just contact Avet.

  • Belive it or not it is not rare at all for the bait to be that thick, im from there and i fish all the bait runs, its that thick everysingle year, and the fishing is great,

  • Once the drag is set for poundage of the line, do NOT adjust the drag setting on the reel when fighting a fish. The line broke because you were trying to stop the fish from taking line, then again you had plenty of line on that red reel. Cheers mate, tight lines again.

  • if u dont eat the fish then why u r fishing??? damn guys let it go i wanna eat that fish

  • @kawthablay100

It's called sport fishing. If you want to eat fish, then go buy some at the market.

  • @BlacktipH oh now i got chu bro

  • @BlacktipH Is it a sport if i lure you with a big mac and then jam a hook in your mouth then take pictures of you before i throw you in the streets?

  • @MrGlennJohnsen

Yes you can make that a sport, you will go to jail, but sure why not! They have cock fights and pitbull fights all the time and they that are caught go to jail.

  • @BlacktipH So you'd agree that sports fishing is cruel then?

  • @MrGlennJohnsen

Nope, I am just agreeing that anything can be a sport. It is not against the law to sport fish, just like it's not against the law to hunt for deer, hogs, moose, and other mammals.

  • @BlacktipH But we EAT those animals, it's not JUST "hunting" for the thrill/fun. I also enjoy fishing but I only throw out specimins that are too small for eating and once I caught one that's fit for eating I stop.

  • @MrGlennJohnsen

Not all of us fish to eat. Some of us enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Even if you do fish to eat, there are size limits and slots; so you're going to be practicing sport fishing whether you like it or not. You cannot keep a fish that is over the size or under. All the reds in this video were outside of the slot. You have no control on what bites your line. The ocean is not a freshwater lake.

  • @BlacktipH It's called sport fishing. If you want to eat fish, then go buy some at the market.

Above is your own comment that's top rated. You activly fish to release whatever you catch, correct? Isn't that just the same as catching a wild animal of any kind just so you can feel on it and admire it?

You say "if you want to eat fish, go buy some at the market."

I say "If you want to look at fish go to an aquarium."

  • @MrGlennJohnsen Then there is no fun in that, this is a video for enjoyment, not to get an arguement over. Also, saltwater aquariums are like 1000-2000 dollars, and this type for excitement is priceless. Not including buying all the stuff, it is fun. Simple enjoyment.

  • @MrGlennJohnsen

Obviously your not an outdoorsman. If you were, you would rather be in the outdoors than at some man-made aquarium. I am not going to respond to anymore of these foolish comments. If you don't like it, don't watch it! If they pass a law against sport fishing, than say something, otherwise, mind your own business!

  • @kawthablay100

    you must be asian....

  • @verdugoadventures yes i am Asian

  • @kawthablay100 also, those fish are over slot do if you want a 500 dollar fine, feel free to keep those reds

Also, thats per fish, not total. so thats 1500 dollar fine, when you can get meat like hat for 15 dollars at the store.

  • wher is this

  • @XxBoSsxxHoG

    Sebastian Inlet?

  • @XxBoSsxxHoG Melbourne Florida.. I've spent TONS of time fishing that place. I've seen it completely filled with pinfish and sharks like in this video. It's amazing.. Throw a line and all you feel are pinfish.. Until one of those sharks hits. Then it's on! Bad part was we never had strong enough gear to pull them in. To see them cut through the waves, especially at night is impressive.

  • aww the shark got away

  • have you ever fished key bicayne and if so was it good

  • @tonyel120

Nope, but I heard it is good.

  • @BlacktipH

how ever do u mount your camera where do u put it

  • @AUZGAMER1

We used a GoPro Roll Bar mount.

  • I fish with Cigar Minnows in Panama City Florida off the Jetty's and bust them Big Reds up.

  • wow some big ass fish you caught there! the first one was so big i thought it was a shark

  • if you really wanna see a fishing video check my latest one

  • في الدقيقه 3.15 ليه المفوحش !!

  • Where is that it looks awesome

  • I have decided to purchase the following:

    Penn Senator 113L2

    Penn Senator Rod 3195RS

And i will be spooling the reel with 500 yds/80lb of spiderwire braided line

Honestly? Can this catch a shark of decent size or no?

  • @ital3nt3d : dont use spiderwire as it will dig into your guides. go with power pro

  • @mightymordicai well the rod can take a line weight of up to 80 lb of mono, so using braided... wouldnt it be even less, since braided is thinner

  • @ital3nt3d : I've used 150lb braid and 100lb mono with a breaking strength of 130+lbs with it. Trust me, it can handle a big fish no problem and will last for years. very durable

  • @mightymordicai are you talking about the rod or the reel?

  • Comment removed

  • @ital3nt3d : the ugly stik can handle braid up to 150lb. I've even used 200lb mono. I use 150lb braid on my 4/0 for stingrays and jack crevalle around pier pilings.

  • @mightymordicai Infact the PP is known to dig into the guides...the spiderwire is smooth and teflon coated!

  • @FT86TT : hmmm. from my experience I have not had the power pro did into my guides. I have had spider wire dig into my guides on multiple occasions. did they come out with a new brand??

  • @mightymordicai Always insist on top quality ceramic rings for the guides. In that area of equipment you get what you pay for. The best ones are called ''sic''. I haven't had too many digging problems. When your dealing with big sharks skimping on something it always shows up during the fight.Good luck & keep on fishing

  • @hombrelubinero : thanks for the advice bro

  • @mightymordicai No probs. The winter fishing seen in Spain always brings me to these vids where ppl are catching more & bigger fish than me. But summer will roll around again and the fish will come out in full force, just wish it would hurry up get here!!Cheers

  • @hombrelubinero : what do you catch out there in Spain?

  • @mightymordicai Leer fish (palometa). I think it's the cousin of the jack crevalle. European sea-bass. Nearest american cousin is the striper. It's smaller but it behaves alot like a trout. It's my favorite species. My name hombrelubinero means: (Hombre- man, lubina ''european sea-bass''.) Macks. We get schools of blue fish of all sizes. Dorada of which I thing is called sea-bream. It's different than the sea-bream known elsewhere.Cheers

    Hope that answers your question

  • @hombrelubinero : sounds exciting. Someday I do hope to fish abroad and over seas. the world is full off all manner of fish to catch

  • @mightymordicai Spain is not a good destination for fishing. It has it's moments. Florida beats spain hands down. You do however have costa rica alot closer. The place that's really hot & that I have plans on doing someday are the saychelles. Look it up! They got some kick-ass fishing right there on the beach without having to freeze to death for it or face down a grizzly. Right now things aren't happening here. Too cold & no time. Cheers

  • @hombrelubinero : yeah, lots of big tarpon and rooster fish out there. In Florida you have the 10,000 islands which look exactly alike the mangrove islands and flats in Costa Rica. High number of tarpon too. You should try out there some day. Beware the lightning, bugs, heat, and pirates though.

  • @mightymordicai First chance I get I'll check it out. I can take the bugs & some heat but the hurricanes have got to go. I think some ultralight snook fishing would be my thing. What do you suggest?

  • @hombrelubinero : you got some big snook out there. 20+. I wouldn't fish lighter than 12lb braid with 30lb fluerocarbon leader. do your research before you go out there. highly dangerous and lethal if you don't know your surroundings. be safe

  • @ital3nt3d: and yeah, you could probably land a shark over 250lbs with 500/80 braid. just make sure your rigs are good. good luck dude

  • @mightymordicai Any good rigs out there that you would happen to have in mind?

  • @ital3nt3d : Blacktiph has several videos posted on how to make a rig. It shows all the steps and materials you will need. just use 10'-15' of 300lb mono, some heavy barrel swivels about 450lbs, 2-3' of doubled up 180lb wire and a 12/0 to 16/0 hook

  • So fun to watch keep em coming!

  • What Bait were you using and rig?

  • @wolverineX62

Stingray and 6ft of #19 wire with a 18/0 Lindgren Pitman hook.

  • Nice catch and release!

  • Ouch... I hate when you lose the big one!!!! Looks like you guys had a blast!!!

  • where r u fishing at

  • @TheShadowking49

    Sebastian Inlet

  • how much would that avet 80 rig cost you for the whole setup. Looks like an unbeatable rig. I love Avet reels the drag is crazy!

  • @krispcream1

    Probably about $1200.00

  • What would be a good conventional reel for fish around like 100 lbs under 150 dollars?

  • @ital3nt3d

    Try a 9/0

  • @BlacktipH Alright, but i have never used a conventional reel before and i am aware you need to use your fingers as a level wind... so do you know any decent conventional reels with a level wind?

i just need something that can hold lots of line and has decent drag.

if there are no decent ones with a level wind im sure i can adapt w/o it.

    thanks

  • @ital3nt3d

A 100lb blacktip will destroy a levelwind reel. I have heard of the winder being ripped out of the reel. Any saltwater reel designed for big fish does not have a levelwind.
