Thanks for this! Though you can hear the discrepency in the sound, its not perfectly in pitch, as thats the nature of a guitar string, when first plucked it goes sharp. A keyboard is a much better option to tune to :)

@jlebesis pure tone would be even better, but hey. personally I like having those overtones that (to a degree anyway) match the sound that your guitar is making, i find the more organic sound easier to tune to. I mean, if you have an ear tuned finely enough that you'd actually notice cent differences, then id imagine you're experienced enough to do it either way, you know what i mean?

@MinnoqWV Yeah thats a good point, I agree with two guitars and the matching overtones, I'm a bass player so that's probably why I didn't feel it was working for me like a guitarist, but its the same principle, and hasn't stopped me coming back to your page to tune ;) I do know what you mean, I play professionally and my ears are fairly tuned in. At the end of the day, you've put some VERY useful on here and I sure ain't gonna complain ;) All the best!
