  • Sure some may laugh AT it, but he used it as an analogy because of its absurdity. Many people view free software as an absurd idea as well. He was being playful and serious, after all, hackers are a playful species... like puppy dogs. :)

  • RMS is cool :) It totally makes sense, the poeple laughing at him are clueless capitalists anyway, and seriously, nobody likes capitalists, not even other capitalists :P
