Certainly received much conviction from this clip. The conservative Korean Presbyterian church fails many times in spreading the gospel. Many times, the culture engulfs the faith. I see no fault in reaching out to those in our lives who we know need Christ, despite facing rejection from them. The continued prayer for them works, as evidenced by the testimonies from church members and famous people such as Augustine.
I tend not to talk to family members too much about Jesus, because I fear if they insult him. I'm the type of guy that is careful what my ears hear, and what my mind collects. If you listen to too many non believers mock him, it will desensitize your faith subconsciously I believe.
But of course, let's make sure to tell the humble, lost, hurt. But as for the scoffers... Let god decide their eternity. God bless you brothers and sisters.
@danielkirk1 Deny me and I will deny you,,, those words spoken by Christ sent shivers through my soul... I will not deny Jesus nor stop speaking of Him... no matter who is present or if its my family.
To all of my Christian brothers and sisters, I implore you, don't waste your time reading silly comments from people who only want to criticize you and make you feel like a fool for following Jesus. Pray for them humbly. YouTube comments aren't the way to defend the Gospel because majority of the time it turns into an argument. Go out and make disciples face to face with relationships.
The Bible describes the life of a Believer (in Jesus) as a life of suffering. We will suffer for Christ in this world. So, he says "You worship someone who was murdered- lean over the plate and take one for the team." If we truly live the life we're called to live, the Bible says we will be persecuted. For the Glory of God!
This is a baseball allusion. He's referring to a batter leaning over home plate and being hit by a baseball pitch. In short, be willing to suffer for the good of the team.
Then why are you watching a video like this, knowing what's going to be talked about. You know you need Jesus. You just can't admit it to yourself cause your head stuffed full of prideful nonsense. Jesus came to give you life and life more abundantly. Why would turn down a gift like Jesus?
@todoke then what do you need? hollow, deceptive, scientific lies? You need to love Jesus because he desires a relationship with you, that's all. That's the first thing you need.
@todoke We live for a kingdom we never seen. Call us crazy, which you will. But will we stop? NO. I must admit, some people who claim to be "Christians" ruin Jesus' reputation. BUT, the ones who don't do that.... WILL NOT STOP.
The world would like us all to hide the light as this world is naturally set against God but then we don't really belong in this world as Jesus set a path to salvation.
i heard a teaching of the parable of the 10 virgin bridesmaids, and this reminds me of that...half of the church (the 5 bridesmaids without oil) represent hipocracy and shame in the church...eye opening messages...praise to you Father...
