  • igbo girl.rep!

  • I always feel very homesick too, I am grateful for my opportunity here in the US, but Nigeria is always were my true heart lies...I also have great memories there too,and that erases all the negative.... am really feeling ur work....

  • this is wonderful !!!

  • Okay, you are the epidemy of the chick am looking for. Our dreams are similar, except my has already started and am planing to make to nigeria soon to lunch my company especially with nigerian economy the way it is. Let connect, cause I see a tremendous force to be reckoned with.

  • I Love All Your Video's .. They're funny & They're the truth .. YOUR JUST AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • @Zakiikim awww that is sooooo cool!!

  • i don't have much to say, but i'm so proud to see a fellow Nigerian female who feels so passionately about her roots and understands the importance of them.

I've been here for 2years and not a day goes by that i don't wish i could be back home with the people i love. I cant go home because (as you said) plane tickets are way too expensive and i'm a broke college student. All i can do is count the days until it'll be possible for me to go home again

  • yagazie... you are the daughter of your father... actualy am a nigerian too. from enugu. but i lived in Aba/Owerri rd.. and Osisi oma . i relate so much to this video. If every nigerian think like you, nigeria go better ooooo. I am in love with you and you message of wisdom. when are you visiting nigeria again? cuz i wld like to see you and maybe share some views together.. God bless you/ chineke gozie gi nwanyi oma

  • hey whats the name of the song playing?????

  • @carebear9908 Kiss your hand by Wande Coal

  • Thank you, Well said Yagazie (your name says it all) let us all go ahead and prosper for Naija :)

  • I can relate to what you are saying. I have been away from Port Harcourt, Nigeria for ten years. I miss everything. Unfortunately, my husband does not see himself relocating to Nigeria. (sighs)

  • I love your videos! I am Nigerian too! Born in the Us but was raised in Aba, Abia state for some years. Keep doing what you're doing, i love it.

  • Sooooo true. I LOVE AND AGREE with everything u say.

  • i love ur videos....u're so original!

BTW..i've noticed that there is "1 dislike" on every video u have...

its like an hater to who had time on their hands decided to dislike all ur videos lol..

    u rock!

  • I'm so glad you're going back. There's too much brain drain going on. I'm African-American and my boyfriend is half Nigerian/half Ghanaian (met him in Ghana) and he wants to be an engineer. I was telling him there are more Ghanaian engineers in the U.S. than in Ghana!! Not cool! We have to work together as a people to pull ourselves up because lords knows others are benefiting from our suffering! (PS: The song you were playing "Kiss your hand" is the first song he ever sang to me hehe I'm done)

  • I subscribed just because of this video and you expressing your desire to return to your country. I am a child of South American parents (I was born stateside) but I totally understand and identify with what you have said!!! Best wishes in all you do. Cuidate mucho.

  • i hope i get a reply here but like seriously, youre really gorgeous , your looks and style also, i saw in a new video you dont have dreads anymore you still look great but why did you get rid of it?

  • Real Smart Chic

  • just gt bck from nig ...will defo advance to go....cause u miss the progress cant wait another 5 years again....

  • nvm i found it lol...and i too want to live in africa

  • nice vid..whats the name of the song in the backround

  • wait...you're in albuquerque...? I just moved up the street from the uni. LOOOL. But omo mehn, I concur with you about moving back home. The brain drain is too much. How many Nigerians do you see around that are pursuing higher degrees...PhD and the like....why are we slaving here when we can be the change that our country need ?I cannot handle it here. All my friends from childhood are scattered all over the globe...but there are 150 million people more I can be friends with...I'm heading back!

  • Did you say Glasgow?

  • Thanks for this video, i say the same thing too, that i intend to go back to nigeria when am done with school and people think am crazy. its nice to see fellow young Nigerians having Nigeria at heart. Once again Thanks. FYI i love your videos

  • Both my mother and father are from Abia State.

  • Nice one dear, keep it up.

  • correct gehhh jarey!nurrin du uuu!nja 4 lyf!m half ethio half nja,.,.

  • wow! nne that ur specialization in cultism in nigerian universities...i didnt know they offer such courses in the US of A o! Are u planning on being an activist for the cause?

Secondly, i used to share ur vision on going back home o...but nne things are happening! Fear is gripping umu mmadu...and as long as we have unemployed grads and the issue of hunger in naija....an average naija can't live there in peace without living in fear of armed robbers, kidnappers etc. Its sad but true.

  • Omg I heart heart you for this LOL! We're just alike on this. If all the youths are running away from Nigeria, who will build it? We've had the opportunity to go out & learn about other cultures but that definitely should be an added plus if we keep talking about change. Will we change Nigeria by staying very far away? Once I'm done here, I'm going back home. People do not understand this when I say it.

  • @MissNaija

that would be nice sha, lolol

  • good job on this, yagazie! im Nigerian, in MA & also believe that our youths need to be worked on..........we all need to contribute positively & not lose the focus......everyone talks of change, but not everyone implements it - we should be the ones to do that................
