@Yexellentay1 I think ur new at this? =D Cause it doesnt really matter unless you're on top of something that you cant go and get your plane. Servos still work after motor has gone out of power, so you can land it pretty smoothly.

@DarkPrince10001 : This is my plane. Its an EDF (Electric Ducted Fan). It has an internal electrical motor that spins a small 5 bladed fan. Nearly 70mm in diameter. Runs off a 4cell 2200mah 30c Lipo Battery pack. ~~Robert.

Great Music and video, great flying. I recently decided to get in to airplanes. I have a ultra micro trojan from eflite using the stock remote. I was having alot of fun with it and could operate it quite proficiently. However now that I can fly, Im thinking about jets and this f-18 by airfield looks really good. Could any of you experienced pilots tell me if my prerequisite is enough to fly this bird? I think I can handle war planes based off the ultra micro trojan and helicopter experience

@herrhazl : This is me flying the jet and I still own it to this day. You really should get more experience flying a bit larger planes before moving into EDF jets, however, if you do want to make the jump, The F18 and F16 and F22 are very good choices for 1st EDF jets. This F18 handles very nicely! I do recommend though that you fly it first with an experienced co-pilot at your side. Even let that person set up the plane and fly it first to trim it out. ~~Robert.

@KaRma2121 : It's like driving a car. You have to go through your learning stage first. Start with High wing slow plane. then move to low wing plane. After you mastered that, then you can start getting into EDF jets, larger balsa planes, etc etc. A great way to learn also is with a Flight Simulator such as Phoenix or Real Flight.

@MrCoward24 highly recommended from me. i'm in the process of getting it at the moment and at $230 an hour over here in Australia it aint cheap but still worth every cent. Most people will have their private licence around the 20 hour mark but i think i'll go on for my commercial. Technically a private pilot isnt allowed to fly for reward or payment.

I got my 2.4 ghz reciever build in my spitfire but the antenna is very short...

Don't i need a longer antenna that sticks outside the plane ? or is that not nessesary with 2.4 ghz ?

@UnderStar501 At most 10-15 minutes, many hobbyists would suggest to buy an extra battery. When unning out of battery, it would be pretty obvious because there will be difficulty in elevating the plane. A fail safe switch would be recommended for that concern. Hope the information helped!

@UnderStar501 looks like you're new because you know nothing about planes, get an airhog plane, if you dont crash it, move to a 4ch trainer, if you dont crash it, move to ducted fan jets....

@UnderStar501 most planes have a controll system that shows you while you fly, that the plane will slow down, but not totally, it will leave you with 25% throttle controll and full airleron, elevator and rudder controll, that way you will be able to make a safe ''crash''-landing, but just so you know, not all planes got that, my plane does, its pretty new (although i crashed ita couple of times) so you can watch my channel if you want

@kyle3410 having 5 others fly at the same time would be quite a challenge unless you guys have a huge wide open field. but there shouldn't be a frequency issues unless they are on the same channel, each will have their own frequency so make sure they are all different before taking off
