@paintballer235 Get a aluminum ninja 13/30 tank. Its perfect for pump play and alot cheaper then most HPA tanks. Its a good investment. Better then rebuying C02 tank every month.

Mike, I started playing in the late 90s, and my brother was a late 80s player. I remember when he handed me his SL-68 II out of his closet to play with him and his buddies - all I could do was stare at in in awe.

This redesign has so much more character and durability than the other two pumps you showed it along side of =P. Although I totally agree with you that the price-point is high, I think somewhere around $125 is more appropriate.

Honestly, I'd get it over a phantom or Kaos as it's probably 2x as durable as those guns(that's why it costs 170 dollars because it's very solid construction).

@amedsoprano Its alot more fun and its alot more satisfying getting someone out with it. Plus, it saves a BUNCH of paint costs. And they have better air efficiancy and(while debatable) tends to be more accurate.

Some people enjoy playing at a severe disadvantage, it's more "challenging" for them. Some people like it because it dramitcally cuts down on your paint consumption. Others like it just because they like cocking the gun like a shotgun everytime they fire it.

It's not for everyone, I don't particularly play alot of pump, but some people really enjoy it.

Also, like mike said, it dramatically decreases te paint you deal, so in a way you save a little cash, and in paintball, oh god thats nice. saving that extra money can mean more gear and more paint and other things. But a plus on pump guns like the check it sniper and the sl-68 II, they are very acurate. Not to mention again as mike said you can go pump action shotgun.

SOMEBODY PLZ HELP!!! k i just bought an 08 ego. while changing the modes i accidentally clicked "factory" and all the settings and everything went away. Its in semi and there is no option to change the modes. I cant do anything except 2 modes- Display and Timer (and exit which brings me back to the main screen). I dont know how to get the old setting back. Can somebody PLEASE help me asap?

Mike, as an alternative to the Tippman backpack, consider my setup. I have a horizontal 4-pod + tank pack. After 1 game, I hated the way my reg dug into my spine when I ran. I carry my pods in the pack still, but I pulled out the bladder & dropped my tank into a Camel-back pack. It rides high above my pod pack , and doesn't bounce when I sprint or jump. If people have a pack that they don't like & already have a camel pack system or small backpack, its a free way to improve their setup. win-win!

Youtube deleted nearly every single video I had with music before it. They deleted almost 40 of my videos because they had music in them. If you are a Youtube partner (which allows you to make videos longer than 10 minutes) and you use music, you risk losing your account.

I was sent multiple warning for using music in the videos, and nearly lost my account for pushing the issue.

That's why the videos on TechPB usually have music, but here they don't. I delete the tracks

Only thing I'd say about the tippmann backpack after looking on their website is that the pod holder looks a lot like it is just designed to bring them to the field. Not resealable velcro, more like those terrible pod loops on all packs, and also, the pod holder is velcroed on, and I don't know if i'd trust that. otherwise it looks awesome.

Hey Mike. Quick question about the big gearbag you reviewed last. The 'gun mat' you showed, could that double as a rain cover? If you fold it over the top, I mean. Woodsball doesn't always have good spots to store your gear in case of inclement weather.

I have the Paintball Bodybag, and DAMN IT'S HUGE! but it has been one of the better bag purchases i've seen for the size of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT to anyone who has a small vehicle. It's best if it's used in pickups or larger cars or SUV's. GREAT BAG overall. Fits tons of things all at once. IT DOES get heavy. So it's not meant for the weak. ;) Hope this helped guys... I recommend it.
