Kinda reminds me of Clint Eastwood riding into town. Must be the whistling. One more chance to say I loved this tour and what he did with his tunes, including classic pop ones such as this.
Da Boss with a banjo and whisteling to one of his most famous tunes. Imagine he would have done that in the 80s... LoL but it's great and he whistles in tune! (Fitting the key-but not the original melody)
one of my favorite bruce songs of all time - but i agree with those who don't care for this arrangement. unfortunately for bruce, the recorded version of this song is impeccable and there really isn't any improving on it.

I just love this song, but this version was / is a disgrace. If Ive paid to come to that concert, I would have been really disapointed. REALLY disapointed.
dumb ass it's done accordingly to mood of the concert which was during the Devils & Dust tour. He played all of his songs in a somber mood until the last 3 to 4 songs.
er ist so sexy!

Exceptional version of Bruce's classic. Haunting, soulful and believable. He keeps the song alive and new--masterful. Thank you Bruce.

Saw this version of the song in Chicago in 05. Seeing it on youtube doesn't capture how amazing it was live.
