Shabir attacks Biblical passages about women and suggests God rescued Jesus from the cross and that Muslims must believe in Jesus. Of course he is speaking about the Islamic version of Jesus based on the word of Muhammed.

Dave shows the implication of the Quran in Surah 4:157 "they killed him not but it appeared to be so". He shows that this means the foundation of Christianity is a deception of Allah. Dave says the apostles would not have died for a lie. He says that we're being asked to throw all the gospel witnesses out just because of Surah 4:157. He says that we're being expected to throw everything out for that one verse.
Dave attacks Shabir's version of events at the resurrection, particularly about the spear and Shabir's denial that the crucifixion took place. He suggests Shabir's account doesn't add up. He suggests that the apostles DIED telling this story. He reminds Shabir that not one of the apostles denied the gospel. He says that Shabir's indirect implication that the disciples were paid to say those things is false. He said they were certain of the things they preached, even risking being hated.

He is KNower of all that is in the breasts (of men). Should He not Know what He created? An He is the Subtile, the Aware." You see, if Allah sees that you are actually sorry and he knows that after repenting you won't go back to sin, He will forgive you Inshallah. But if he decides to not, then u recieve punishment

Are you allowed to add to the words of the Qur'an? Surah 67:12 "As for those who fear their Rabb, although they have not seen Him, shall have forgiveness and a great reward." There's nothing about never sinning again. You only have to be truly sorry to be forgiven.

Allah can forgive you as He wills, even if He knows that you'll go back to sin, BUT THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM NOT ALLAH'S. I know Muslims believe that everyone is going to hell, some longer than others, but then will everyone reach paradise eventually? If you kill someone what is a just punishment? So, first allah punishes you and then forgives you? Like I said before if you punish someone then they aren't forgiven because they pay for their sin. If you forgive them then there is no payment for the sin. You cannot have both.
@godswordsheal People who have gone to prison and recieved punishments for rape, murder and so on most of the time come back doing it again!!! Take adultery as an example. It has a harsh punishment for the ones who do it. But even so after getting punished one may easily go back to it. ITS IN OUR NATURE TO SIN AND THAT IS WHY ALLAH IS MERCIFUL WITH US.

But Jesus died for you so that as long as you belong to Him that even if you do accidentally sin, He promises that His blood will cover you. That doesn't mean you can sin purposefully, but accidents will be forgiven because Jesus knows our imperfections. Can Muhammad promise that?
@godswordsheal No it does not work like that. On the day of judgement our deeds will be put into a balance where on one side lays the bad deeds and on the other the good deeds. If the bad one's outweigh the good one's, you go to hell, and recieve your JUST punishment. This also goes vise versa. However, you claim that Jesus will cover up for your mistaken sins. So does Allah!! He will not punish you for something that you did not know it was sinful. BTW, Mohammad is a prophet not a God.

Its true that Sinaiticus is our oldest COMPLETE bible and that there are some textual difference, some extra books, and the books are in a different order than are today. What you fail to mention is that we have EARLIER manuscripts (you know what a manuscript is right?) of every book in the New Testament.

The "Magdalene" Manuscript of Matt. 26 is dated within the time of Jesus, the "John Rhyland" Manuscript of John is dated as early as 90 AD, the "Bodmer Papyrus II" of John is also dated as early as 90 AD, the "Chester Beatty Papyri" of the entire New Testament is only about maybe 150 years from the time of the events. None of these are fourth Century, and there are many more like these within 200 years of the time of Jesus.

He is KNower of all that is in the breasts (of men). Should He not Know what He created? An He is the Subtile, the Aware." You see, if Allah sees that you are actually sorry and he knows that after repenting you won't go back to sin, He will forgive you Inshallah. But if he decides to not, then u recieve punishment

Are you allowed to add to the words of the Qur'an? Surah 67:12 "As for those who fear their Rabb, although they have not seen Him, shall have forgiveness and a great reward." Allah can forgive you as He wills, even if He knows that you'll go back to sin, BUT THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM NOT ALLAH'S. As far as Allah is concerned, He really doesn't care if you sin or not, for He can punish you as much as needed. And hey! its in human nature to sin!!!! its in us alright?

I know Muslims believe that everyone is going to hell, some longer than others, but then will everyone reach paradise eventually? If you kill someone what is a just punishment? So, first allah punishes you and then forgives you? Like I said before if you punish someone then they aren't forgiven because they pay for their sin. If you forgive them then there is no payment for the sin. You cannot have both.

@godswordsheal People who have gone to prison and recieved punishments for rape, murder and so on most of the time come back doing it again!!! Take adultery as an example. It has a harsh punishment for the ones who do it. But even so after getting punished one may easily go back to it. ITS IN OUR NATURE TO SIN AND THAT IS WHY ALLAH IS MERCIFUL WITH US.

But Jesus died for you so that as long as you belong to Him that even if you do accidentally sin, He promises that His blood will cover you. That doesn't mean you can sin purposefully, but accidents will be forgiven because Jesus knows our imperfections. Can Muhammad promise that?

@godswordsheal No it does not work like that. On the day of judgement our deeds will be put into a balance where on one side lays the bad deeds and on the other the good deeds. If the bad one's outweigh the good one's, you go to hell, and recieve your JUST punishment. This also goes vise versa. However, you claim that Jesus will cover up for your mistaken sins. So does Allah!! He will not punish you for something that you did not know it was sinful. BTW, Mohammad is a prophet not a God.

A real god does not leave his people out in the mud like Allah seems to do. My God saves those who love Him through a Holy act of sacrifice that can cover anyone and everyone if only they would believe it. Allah sits ruling over the people he created while watching them continually stumble and die with no plan to save them from themselves. They continue to ruin the great things he has given them and he just sits watching them do it and then forgiving them for it with no reparations, no grace.

I don't believe "everyone is right" or that either of these people are retarded in their thinking. Pick a side, learn/live and see in the end who was right. The God I currently believe in, in my opinion would not damn people, that would "convert" as soon as they saw the angels in heaven themselves! This world is more like a test of some kind.

If some of the stories in the Bible isn't true like the resurrection of Jesus that would mean the Bible is not infallible and is a false doctrine. Then why would he use both the Bible and the koran when the koran is all true and the Bible isn't? Why would he trust the stories that the Bible has that the Koran doesn't when there is a chance that that story has been tampered with. The Bible is the truth.

Its true that Sinaiticus is our oldest COMPLETE bible and that there are some textual difference, some extra books, and the books are in a different order than are today. What you fail to mention is that we have EARLIER manuscripts (you know what a manuscript is right?) of every book in the New Testament.

The Codex, which was originally around 1,400 pages long, is now a collection of 800 pages and fragments. If you want to call it COMPLETE, than SURE. The "Magdalene" Manuscript of Matt. 26 is dated within the time of Jesus, the "John Rhyland" Manuscript of John is dated as early as 90 AD, the "Bodmer Papyrus II" of John is also dated as early as 90 AD, the "Chester Beatty Papyri" of the entire New Testament is only about maybe 150 years from the time of the events. None of these are fourth Century, and there are many more like these within 200 years of the time of Jesus.

The majority of Church Fathers agree that the Ebionites rejected many of the central Christian views of Jesus such as his pre-existence, divinity, virgin birth, atoning death, and physical resurrection. "In regard to the divine name YHWH, commonly referred to as the Tetragrammaton, the translators adopted the device used in most English versions of rendering that name as "Lord" in capital letter to distinguish if from Adonai, another Hebrew word rendered "Lord," for which small letter are used." This is from the Preface to my NIV.

Jesus is separating himself from being God. Why is it hard for you to understand? God tells people many times that he is a Prophet and that he was sent to the lost house of Israel only by God!
Muslim literally means "one who submits (to God)" Just like the Prophet Jesus! And every other Prophet and Messenger

@godswordsheal In post-Biblical Judaism, the title was often applied to righteous men: Sirach 4:10 and Wisdom of Solomon 2:17-18 use the term to refer to just men, and Book of Jubilees 1:24-25 has God declaring all righteous men to be his sons. Philo too wrote that good people are sons of God, and various rabbis in the Talmud declare that when Israelites are good, they are sons of God.

@supermankhan Jesus didn't have to say that to say that to say that He is God. Only in your Muslim mind that has been corrupted by Muhammad's false teachings, does your argument seem truthful. He did not say I am God...But if He has to say those exact words for you to believe Him then equally the fact that He never says "I am not God" should just confuse you. Unless you can give me a verse where He says that then we have to figure another way to tell if He claimed to be God or not, dontcha think

@supermankhan 2.Sinaiticus is only the earliest complete bible we have found, it is NOT the earliest attestation to its text. It is awesome that anyone on earth with a computer can actually look online at the actual Codex Sinaiticus for themselves in the direct greek or through a few other languages. Yes do go and research.
