Stop talking shit about LaBrie. His voice fits perfectly into the band, better than any of their previous singers. For some reason I feel LaBrie's high pitched vocals just add that extra layer of prog. Can't have true prog without high pitched vocals.

No! there is where you head wrong... Dream Theater would get boring (Do not get me wrong, the instrumental parts of Dream Theater are still awesome) without James. This is because his voice gives a 5th dimension to the songs. I couldn't imagine songs like As I Am or Constant Motion without the vocals of LaBrie... And now you could say that if you'd put Russell Allen (Symphony X) in there, it would kick even more ass, well, I don't think so: LaBrie IS Dream Theater, his voice IS Dream Theater...
