Profiler was set to 105 - 0 - 0 - 720 degrees of rotation. In game feedback.. hmm really really don't remember, it wasn't on 200. I never use that clipping-hell :D. What do you mean by "isn't smooth"?
well when i play lfs.. i put the force to like 60 something percent.. and its smooth.. when you were steering it was a tad jumpy and stuff.. but yeah.. its cool.. how much for that seat and stuff. AND can you put the shifter on the left.. because i ;live in aus and yeah would be wayy better on the left ayy
Well, i don't remeber it being jumpy or non-smooth, but i saw the video skips a few times, it may seem so due to the video errors...
As for the seat - yes you can have the left mounted shifter, and also mounted higher position then this one. I have high-mount on my set - about 15 cm higher then this one and it's really great.
BUT- company was sponsor of my CROTeam racing (lfs team which im member of), we haven't heard with them for loong time. So we are not quite sure are they still selling the
Short time after this presentation i got myself a G25 - it took me some time to get used to shifter, today it's brake pedal is slightly modified to accomodate normal heel and toe. Also developer of the seat equipped me and my team mates with this cockpit. It really is fantastic and still doesn't show any wear.
And after all, the whole presentation done here was meant to show how good the frame is, not our driving abilites!
No problem for heel n toe, i've learned that a long time before this test in my Renault 19, which syncro meshes aren't in best condition, which forces me to h'n't going down from 4th to 3rd and especially 3rd to 2nd. But why didn't i use three pedals with paddle shifter? Well i tried that, but just couldn't get used to press clutch and pull paddle, either my hand would go for the shifter or i wouldn't shift at all!
Third: that day was the first when i tried the G25 and after slowi-ish DFP i was absolutely amazed by how good it was. I expected it to be good, but it surpassed all my expectations. Except the one thing - shifter. It just doesn't fit the package. This driving here is done after maybe 10 minutes spend with G25 and i just couldn't get used to its toy-ish shifter in such a short time, and thats why i used paddles.

Second: what you are watching was about testing this seat. It was invite by developer himself to my LFS team CROTeam Racing. This drifting here was a sort of
stress test to see how the wheel stand and whole cocpit will behave under heavy usage, you see i'm using steering wheel a lot and overdoing it alot.
he's using the paddles, the g25 gives you the CHOICE to use what you like, some games dont supprot the H shifter, i normally set the gearbox for tiptronic in these cases. also some games force you, in GT5:P if you use the clutch it forces you to use what the car has, so a car with paddles like the GTR you dont have a choice to change them. also left foot braking makes sence with no clutch, why bother hell-toe when you got a foot doing nothing??
Race car drivers use 2 feet because its quicker and better control. The left foot straddles both the clutch and brake pedal while the right is strictly on the gas.
you're wrong the pro drivers never use the left foot for the brake... the left is for clutch and te right for brake and gas... like the heel and toe and everything else
The wheel is a Logitech g25 witch works on pc and ps2/ps3 through a usb cable. Not many games support the stick shift wich is probably why he´s not using it here.
I love it though, best racing wheel i´ve ever had.
by the looks of it he's a starter sand he sucked si would do the same i would drive automatic for a bit and get some pratice in on the manual he MIMGHT know how to drive standard but he'd suck worse lol
great, great seat, much better than it looks would suggest. Perfectly ergonomic and comfortable. wheel is mounted directly on the seat so u can feel force feedback from the wheel under ur back-which is damn good thing, almost feeling curbs:) and cheap too.
Serious Sam would drive better than this guy ;-)
