they could be on the carpet for static current, and you describe them moving (as we saw) movement requires energy to be burnt as well, so it may stir them up like blood to a shark.

also i noticed they speed up with your mood(or the general mood of the room)

so play with that a bit, could be interresting

You should take a still photo of these orbs. Then open the photo with Windows picture and Fax Viewer. Use the + and - controls to zoom in on the Orb. You will see complex mandela patterns in the orb. I have done this with some in my photos. I think they are spirits. As we move to a galactic center we are now able to see things in the fourth dimension, like these spirits...
